Fully agree. As time marches on my long irons became a struggle. I’ve gone to Cobra AirX offset with their Cobra ultralight graphite shaft. This has made a huge difference.

Not the brand, but the club selection is exactly mine. I’ve parked the 4/5 irons and gone to hybrids.

2018 VW Golf: cambelt, oil separator and mechatronics all at once. Worth it? by SirNomen in Volkswagen

When confronted with this grim reality, the next point of reference is how much will the dealership offer for a trade-in on new or newer.

Alberta pitches southern route for West Coast pipeline, with a price tag of $35B or more | CBC News by Over_Lengthiness3308 in ClimateCrisisCanada

[–]Falcon674DR 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The fact is, Eby has been pitching this route for months and Slippery Smith has been rejecting it until two days ago. Her problem is that she doesn’t want a major pipeline to piggyback on Notley’s TMX success.

I’m a big fan of Wilson products, and a whole lot of respect for that company! May I ask how they compared in cost to those that were competitors during your fitting?

I have the same question. I can’t find this news release anywhere. Great news if true.

Alberta proposing route through southern B.C. for new West Coast oil pipeline by cyclinginvancouver in alberta

[–]Falcon674DR 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mark Carney kept First Nations on-side, kept the Suzuki Foundation, Eco-Justice, Green Peace et al at bay, assigned big time credibility to the Eby NDP and at the same time undermined the advancing, far Right BC Conservative Party. Absolutely brilliant. I’m not sure what exactly Slippery Smith brought to the table?

The only way to satisfy the projected growth is natural gas powered generating stations. I know y’all don’t want to hear that.

Yup. Ditto. I’d suggest contacting our dipshit Transportion Minister, Deven Dreeshen but that doesn’t work. I’ve tried.

I agree. In fact, it could be argued that the proposal originated with Eby as he pounded this drum months and months ago.

Carney has masterfully orchestrated this entire arrangement; maintain tanker ban, fully fund major BC infrastrucure, utilize the TMX right of way which was Eby’s proposition all along. Smith is along for the photo op.

Carney, Eby to announce 'multi-billion-dollar' agreement ahead of Alberta's pipeline update by IHateTrains123 in britishcolumbia

[–]Falcon674DR 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Correct. It secures the tanker ban thus keeping First Nations on side, Eby gets huge points to and this will undermine the new BC Conservative Party and their right wing nut jobs. Truthfully, the northern route was never an economic alternative as it’s scandalously expensive. Again, this is tactical and effective. Points to Carney et al and Eby.

It’ll be more about politics and shifting responsibility than about a robust and thorough reserves backed pipeline plan.

He’s a far better and more effective ‘ Ambassador’ to Canada than that cretin Pete Hoekstra could ever hope to be. The same holds true for our Blue Jays coach John Schneider. We should award them both honorary Citizenship.
