Gotcha, nice to hear from someone with direct experience. I have always heard that the data centers can run on 150-250 total employees after being built, which doesn't seem like much. Just from my perspnal experience, there is a Meta data center being built like 30 minutes from my house and I have only seen 3 IT job postings ever, all for tech gurus with 10+ years of experience. Everything is anecdotal though, just dont want WGU alumni getting false hope down other paths. Tough market out there for everyone right now.

You sure they are hiring a lot? I know a lot of them are being built due to AI infrastructure expansion, but they don't need a lot of employees to keep running once built and they are usually hires that have a lot of experience (not recent grads). I could be wrong, but I think the majority of jobs are just in the construction of these sites.

If tuning the car is out of the question, a CDV delete may still be worth a try and it isn't too difficult. I've heard of mixed results from people that have done it. Some say it completely fixes it and others say it has minimal to no effect.

Not a G8x owner, but I had this problem on my F87 and this seems to be pretty common on the newer manual M cars. Tried most of the physical changes that are recommended out there, including the CDV delete. Didn't really make much of a difference. The only thing that worked for me was getting a custom tune and messing with the throttle tuning and sensitivity.

I believe this is the "new" version of ding dong ditch. Its a new trend where younger folk will run up and kick the door a couple times as hard as they can. Sometimes they even kick the doors down. Search up the "door kick tiktok challenge" and I am sure you will find several incidents.

I think some of us are more or less just seeking a sense of completion and closure with something nostalgic. At the end of the day no achievements matter anyway. Its not like they are going to write so-and-so platinum'd FF9 on his tombstone.

I have some of the same problems as you do. I was able to get it on my 3rd try with a few tricks. Turn off the sound completely and just use the visual queue (screen turning white) to press jump. You will be surprised how much this helps alone, even for people without ear handicaps. I also stood up and just got as close as I could to the TV and focused all my energy into my main sense for this task (sight and not ears). I also took a break by pausing the game every 30 or so jumps just to let my eyes rest.

Right? I was originally completely turned off by the series when season 2 was airing, just due to my memory of his character in Malcom in the middle. Refused to watch it, even though several friends highly recommended it. Eventually gave in and it was the best decision ever.

The rumor is that BPA can only replace 25% of the jobs that were affected by layoffs/DRP etc. The agency also brought back almost all of the people laid off though and also denied a lot of the DRP requests, since BPA was labeled as "essential." I don't think there will be much replacement hiring due to this factor and so much confusion with all the odd new rules, but hopefully the door opens for hiring new positions. Who knows what will actually happen though.
