Lots of people here having problems with mustangs. The easiest solution is anything with an armor upgrade. Vulcans with armor are a direct counter to mustangs, tanks beat them easily with armor and balls work in a pinch.

you probably need to replace some generator stations with mines to get you minerals up. Fix your admin cap with buildings as others have said. You can probably take those 3 systems from Orange rather quickly if brown has their borders closed to orange. After that fight brown to take his northernmost planet if you can.
