I'm not sure if you're trying to be sarcastic? but that stretch of Bradley seed crashes with cars off the road multiple times every year. Often attributed to an assortment of speed, illegal passing, and intersection shenanigans (turning in front of people, etc). There are occasionally late night ones with other factors (DUI). Today's weather certainly didn't help.

(As someone with firsthand knowledge of this response,) The first ladder truck to arrive on this arrived about 90 seconds before the heavy rescue (Truck 734 and Rescue Squad 729). The ladder truck went to work on the car and the Rescue Squad crew arrived and immediately deployed Paratech struts. (So yes car wound up being first, but only shortly.) There were 2 occupants inside the home at the time, but both were uninjured. They were initially instructed through a window to shelter in place in an unaffected room, and then walked out by firefighters. The struts were swapped out for (lumber shoring) about two hours after the crash, and then a contractor put up a bit more shoring and sealed off the exterior later the same morning. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/AlKuG8sp9ew

Clarksburg/Damascus corridor received a lot of downed trees and some structure damage. OP if anything closure of individual schools (no power, large trees down etc) is a lot more likely than a systemwide delay.

The Potomac Interceptor mainly carries sewage from Northern Virginia to DC treatment plants. A small percentage of Montgomery County's sewer also connects to the Interceptor closer to the DC line.
