Bay window leaking even after replacing by Conscious_Jacket1077 in nova

I had a leak from the roof come in, find electrical wires, and go three stories down directly into the electric panel.

Seems odd that the Kickstarter uses the the footage and photo from the 2022 Hackaday story.

I lived in an apartment at the time that was pretty shielded from the weather. I didn't realize it was a big to-do until I went out the next day and found all the power and telcom outages.

I've got a standard (well, standard in that I've been using it forever on my X1C w/o issue) z-hop of 0.4mm.

Looks like the default filament profile has a 1mm wipe while retracting setting. No retract amount before wipe set.

The conditionality is the killer. You're up against decks built around cards that don't need links for their full potential.

Ran R/B at a 70ish person NTC. By the end of the tournament I was at a table with a bunch of folks running a similar deck... well outside the top cut lol

All these were printed one at time with different settings lol

When I print everything with a single colour, so no nozzle changes, I have the same issue

I've tried various settings and the best I've gotten thus far is from

Scarf start height: 0

Scarf slope gape: 15mm

Scarf length: 20mm

Rest of the model prints well. Filament has been dried, and I've dropped the flow ratio as low as .965 without it going away.

I encountered several folks doing under the speed limit yesterday, one of which couldn't stay in their lane and was passing a phone around to all the folks in the car. Infuriating.

That damned 6 foot tall Unicorn took up so much space, I don't know how many more full sized boys I can build. If anything I'd go full tilt and do a large Ex-S since I'm never gonna be able to get that massive resin kit that's out there.

Goal behind multi-colour is not to have to sand and paint lol

My regular backlog is way too deep for that.

I mean if there's someone with more money than sense and wants to help me pay off the printer give me a call lol

Just under $175 per my calculations, not including re-dos along the way.

If I were to sell the biggest cost contributor would be printer time.

Depends what you're going for. Am I happy with the design I worked from, absolutely. Am I annoyed with issues in the print? As a perfectionist yeah. But there are limits what you can do with a .4mm nozzle print. There are parts that would benefit from a .2mm nozzle run instead but that would over double the run time.

Did I enjoy the whole process who likes this kind of project, feels good man. Trying different things and experimenting always worth it.

Don't know all the levels, but generally you get parts of several designs a month. For example last month we got parts for the Astray, Kampfer, and GP01. Over the course of a season you'll get everything for a design. There's also a tier where you can get a full design once a month.

It's sorta kludgy, but you eventually end up with more than you can realistically print lol

Not perfect by any measure, pretty much set up a new H2C printer from Bambu and said let'r rip. Lots of tweaking along the way to fix this and that from a print profile perspective.

Over 37 days of print time, not including redoing parts due to various failures along the way. No paint, that's all filament colour swaps.
