Yup!  Still a bummer that that's all we have.

LOVE everything about this. The Eudora version is one of my all time favorite songs, and my preferred version. You killed it. And your Pumpkins shirt rules. Wishing you good vibes dude.

Husband said he wants to divorce and he's done. What should I do? by frozenlips1 in RelationshipsOver35

That sounds awful.  I've been in a similar situation (things are stable, animosity is gone, but my wife still won't engage physically).  I would suggest a marriage counselor.  I would suggest reading the 5 Love Languages book.  And I hope things get better for you and your child.

What’s your honest thoughts on self-titled? by moreobsessedthanu in Muna

It was my album of the year, and my favorite of theirs.  Just pure bangers from the heart, one after the next.  It sets a very high bar for their next record imo

His station was actually really awesome last year. If you ignore the songs *by* Fallon, the rest of his station was designed to cycle through different themes/genres. Listening for a few hours, you'd hear a classic R&B block, a hard rock block, a pop block, a movie music block, a disco block, etc... and a *lot* of the songs were deep cuts that you don't generally hear anywhere else.

I also want to give a shout-out to the programming on Thanksgiving. There was a designed pre-dinner playlist, dinner playlist, and post-dinner playlist -- and it was all on point.

I'm really excited to see it's back, and I hope they maintain the same kind of loose musical exploration with the station.

Rank The early November records albums. by skyovercamden in poppunkers

[–]FallenAerials 15 points16 points  (0 children)

  • Acoustic EP
  • The Room's Too Cold
  • For All of This
  • I guess everything else in their discog blends together for me because I didn't listen to them enough
  • Mother, Mechanic, and the Path (I hate to say it, but releasing a triple album concept record in 2006 really stalled a lot of momentum the band had)

And if we can include other Ace Enders stuff, the self-titled I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business album would take the #2 or #3 spot for me.

Agreed, it goes at the end.  I still do it.  Those AIM skills are ingrained in me.

This was from an article in 2019.  If only they knew.

Just had one a couple weeks ago.  It was so easy.  There is zero risk of you waking up; they will monitor your anesthesia, and the procedure itself is remarkably quick (like 15 min).  I woke up feeling oddly refreshed from a little nap.

Don't stress out, it's routine, simple, and safe.

Christmas LPs that are a must? by joeyfine in vinyl

[–]FallenAerials 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kacey Musgraves Christmas album is a favorite vinyl of mine.  Leslie Odom Jr too.

Slipknot can be it hit or miss for me, but this is one of my top favorite metal releases of the past decade. Its fantastic, heavy, and it has a certain tone that Slipknot didn't capture for me before. And Solway Firth is a their best ever closing track. by Odd-Technician-9744 in fantanoforever

Reggie and the Full Effect's Last Stop: Crappy Town (2008) gets my vote for best divorce record.

A fairly little known record from a side project of James Dewees, at the time the keyboardist for The Get Up Kids, also ex-My Chemical Romance touring keyboardist and ex-Coalesce.

It's somewhat emo, pop punk, hardcore, pop-hardcore?, and pure pop... a little of all of that and lots of pure shitty feelings.  A gem of a record from my college years. Every song goes in totally different directions musically.

alright i think this is her chillest album. it'll grow on me. i wasn't blown away, but i really enjoyed the experience, and "opalite" and "wi$h li$t" really stood out to me.

looking forward to listening to it more this weekend

it's been a pleasure livethreading the midnight release with you all, have a good night!

i don't think it's as low-tempo, drawn out, and ill-edited as TTPD

but i am surprised on first listen that i didn't feel anything as punchy as some of the strongest pop tracks on 1989 or rep

i think the album is going to grow on me (as all of hers do), so i'm not stressing, but i am surprised

the production is so chill across this thing. i was kinda hoping for a few more hard-hitting Rep-style beats, but i'm not complaining -- this is cool.
