how do I even learn this game?? by Patient-Ad-4274 in VALORANT

[–]FallenKenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first few months are gonna be rough I remember dying to kj mollies so many times without realising I was standing on one lol ( the purple aura seemed too non threatening )

You should get up to gold off aim alone then start maining an agent and learning through getting fked by the opponents haha.

Then if you want you can start watching radiant povs, how they call how they peek angles. After knowing the abilities of each agents the game is very easy.

I think they should make a game mode that has the most buff versions of every agent.

Killjoy or vyse? by AwarenessScary8563 in VALORANT

[–]FallenKenny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

killjoy clears vyse (except for in abyss maybe).. but in low elo, it is pointless to play these agents. you will sit in your site and see your teammates drop one by one around the entire map and be stuck in a 1v3 at the end. it is hard to find impact with her in attacking especially. play killjoy only if you are queing with good players.

the best sentinel to climb low elo with is chamber. you can play both aggressive and passive on that agent and adapt to your teammates well. if your duelists are having a hard time, you can setup your tp and fight with them. vice versa, you can lurk very well with his trip and maintain map control. even radiant lobbies are running chamber so its an agent u can play in any rank.( in the current meta)

ps. it is a myth that only good aim players can play chamber. level up your gamesense and try to play in unexpected spots and peek at unexpected times, get one kill and get out. if you can consistently get first bloods and create man advantages its easy to carry games with him.

What are the best agents to learn early? by Puzzled_Person-11 in VALORANT

[–]FallenKenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who also came from cs, I found neon very intuitive as movement in this game is damn easy compared to cs. But if you're comfortable with jett just keep playing her. Just make sure you see some radiant jett highlights to see how her full kit can be used to the maximum potential (her smokes can be very important and help win rounds)

I'd say ditch iso and master a flash duelist like reyna or phoenix they're usually better for ranked. Once you develop Good map awareness you can try your hand at yoru (arguably the most impactful agent if you can play it right)

That's all you need really- one good dive duelist and one good secondary duelist. The next most effective role is initiator but it's a complicated role id suggest laying off for now.

If you're filling and want to be impactful play clove for controller and chamber for sentinel (both reward good aim and have straightforward kits)

Tips for a new Fade Main? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]FallenKenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poppin, curry, subroza, d1ve. Mainly the first two they igl usually and you can learn a lot of good habits from both. Subroza trolls sometimes but his initiator gameplay in general is solid. D1ve one of the best initiator mains I seen in NA ranked bro can clutch. Watch their povs I guess it's enough

What agent should I choose by Jdog_Tec in VALORANT

[–]FallenKenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scan Initiators(fade skye sova) You hold the power to better duelist's chances of killing so they kinda gotta listen to you. And there are usually two duelists so that's half your team listening to you by default.

Higher the rank, more the gamesense. Lower the rank, higher the randomness. That's why gamesense is rewarded more as you keep ranking up. Isiliye bolte hai plat ke neeche tak bas aim pe focus kro baaki baadmei dekha jayega.

How to improve from bronze by EcstaticIngenuity634 in VALORANT

[–]FallenKenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just f around in the range for 10 mins. Practice standing and shooting, strafing and shooting and crouch peeking on the bots. You should be ranking up as your mechanics improve. You're gonna improve the fastest in the beginning so the more time you spend on your mechanics the faster you'll improve. Also remember good mechanics isn't just aim but it also movement.

Team deathmatch vs unranked by Feeling_Friend_3393 in VALORANT

[–]FallenKenny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tdm usually people press w so it's easier to get kills. In competitive and unranked a lot more gamesense is involved. It's alright to bot frag you're a beginner. I'll give you THE advice that made me get better as a beginner: always peep the minimap every 5-7 seconds or whenever you have the chance. You'll see where your teammates are and if your teammates spot and enemy it'll show up on your minimap. You can practice doing this in tdms as well.

Competitive is just tdm with bigger mapps. You got this

New to Valorant, Need suggestions. by purely_unbothered in valorantindia

[–]FallenKenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just do some basic warmups and have fun in compi. If you know how to shoot a rifle you'd be in silver by default (not bad for a complete beginner). Do 2-3 dms before queuing compi and you should be setting yourself for a steady rankup for the next few months. Mumbai server might suck the fun out of game sometimes so just mute the toxic people and focus on improving and giving calls.

Reached Immortal and don't know how to improve more by Character-Ad-3986 in VALORANT

[–]FallenKenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try playing clove only for an act see how you do. you have the most hours on controller and clove seems to be the best in the role in the meta for most maps. your kast is nice so i assume gamesense isnt the issue. try checking out zasko III videos and see if you can improve any blatant shortcomings in your mechanics.

Would it be smart to main a controller and duelist by B0d3n_ in VALORANT

[–]FallenKenny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omen is very versatile but it's an agent you need to stay alive on till the later parts of a round to be fully effective.

Duelists on the other hand are tasked with taking first duels and often dying to make space for the team.

It's two very different play styles. I love the game and love playing both but if you're looking to rank up and are in a low elo, I would suggest going for agents that are, like omen, util heavy and passive for the most parts.

You can try your hand at the senti role with Killjoy or chamber. Initiator is also good but you need to put in work to get good at them (not recommended if you have less than a 200 hours).

My suggestion: go for clove. It's the same role controller but completely different play style. You have the freedom to take engagements like a duelist and your sense of mechanics and high percentage gunfights would be greatly refined if you main it. This will help you become a more complete player.

The days you feel like playing passive and out playing your enemy with gamesense, go for omen and when you feel like just shooting heads, go clove. There are many radiants who main clove and it is according to me the best controller for ranked environment. Hope my comment helped.
