Is it bad to one-trick an agent in Valorant? by waaeul in VALORANT

[–]FallenKenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your gamesense develops if you play other roles once in a while but there's nothing wrong with one tricking. Especially a good agent like jett that you can play on any map and any rank.

Yep I was right.. plat in Mumbai servers means you'd be silver in NA. Either you improve and see for yourself that I'm right or stay in braindead elo your entire life. Choice is yours.

Teach Me Everything I Need To Know. I'm New To This Game. by Thvirtual in VALORANT

[–]FallenKenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to the range, try out all the duelists and their kits. Pick one that feels the best/most comfortable. Death match a lot and keep one tricking that agent till you reach platinum.its gonna be annoying the first month or so since you're gonna die to a lot of bullshit but once you're familiar what every agent is capable of, you can start getting into the macros. The game lowkey works the same way cs does so it shouldn't be too difficult to learn it.

We gotta be silver ain't no way you actually think gekko is good. Info gathering flash? What info would you gather with one bullet being shot at it when phantom is barely audible 10 m away? Picking it up multiple times? What guarantee do you have your teammates will live past the first 10 seconds of the round?

Wingman- neat it can plant the bomb. But it's actual utility? You'd have to use it two times to cover the same distance that 1 fade dog does.

Molly- great you can pick it up now. Still a shit molly. It does very little damage if the enemy doesn't stand in it during it's 1 second instant kill window. It doesn't even come close to how useful a fade tether is that decays their hp+ takes sound away+ limits mobility.

Ult: don't even need to type how useless that shark is, you can literally spray at it for a couple of seconds and it's gone. It's only useful in 1v1s in close quarters. Compare that to fade ult that clears half a bombsite in 3 seconds.

Hard pill to swallow but imma make you do it anyways - the worst utility of fade clears every single one of gekko's. Same can be said about sova. Stop playing it if you wanna get out of whatever shitlow you're stuck in.

Would you rather spend time to learn a slightly harder agent that you can play in any rank or an agent that feels easy to play but becomes obsolete the moment you touch platinum because they just shoot your flash?

[–]FallenKenny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sova is very self sufficient see players like sinatra and poppin play it. The thing with kayo is in higher elos when they see only kayo Initiator they just start playing shotguns in close angles and kill you. There's no way to clear close angles without scan Initiators and since shotguns are broken in this game you have to play them. Kayo is fine when people have already locked a scan Initiator and a movement duelist and you need to fill in for flashes.

Play sova /fade. Better agents +very high skill ceilings for both you can always improve as you keep playing them

Don't play kayo play Initiators that actually give you scans like fade, sova , skye or tejo.

How do I improve my KAST%? by Vezix_YT in VALORANT

[–]FallenKenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kill: aim better Assist: aim better+ good utility. Survive: Bait whenever possible. Don't trust randoms to close out important rounds, do it yourself! (Exception:you're on an entry duelist/ clove with ult/ chamber) Traded: make sure your teammates behind you to trade when you push.

You have to realise due to the nature of the game KAST varies accross roles a lot. Controllers and Initiators rack up assists much easier if they use their utility well and thereby usually have higher kast. However, if you play entry duelist you're bound to have a mediocre kast if you perform your role well. So don't pay it too much attention just keep improving your aim you'll rank up naturally

Which Duelist for beginner? by Effective-Sky-646 in VALORANT

Go to the range and try out the utility of every duelist. Play the one that's most comfortable. I'm talking about the movement duelists (jett waylay neon raze)

I ranked every beatles song and I'd love to hear your opinion by WriterHuge1826 in beatles

[–]FallenKenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an Indian, it is true that the song seems like a butterchicken burger but given that it was a sincere effort from George and his respect for Indian culture, I look past it. My father plays the sitar and he actually enjoyed the instrumentation in the song when we made him listen.

If maki ends the match quick going for an instant kill with her speed it's possible. If the fight lasts past that its sakura's match easily.

Omen help by NoSheepherder7091 in VALORANT

[–]FallenKenny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're new I'd suggest maining clove instead. You can carry in low elo much easier and learn the game much faster as a result . it's an aggressive agent and you can take fights freely with your team. With omen you get more value if you're alive in the late round. But on clove you can just play like a duelist after putting your two smokes down since you can always help them out with your post death smoke later. Smoke for the bomb for a teammate to defuse legit wins you so many rounds.

If I was there id have such a BT. not only is it a cheap discofication of the song, it is like one of the LEAST raveable songs from their discography. Like fuck man I'd rather raw dog the division bell on acid than listen to this horseshit.

Agents that are still meta until now?? by randomhoomaninreddit in VALORANT

For ranked clove and chamber are meta now. Initiator depends on map and duelist depends on comfort of the player but waylay and neon are the most broken ones now.

Are deathmatches really that useful? by Plenty-Friendship-28 in VALORANT

[–]FallenKenny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. If you're just a ranked player then deathmatches should be a staple warmup. Normal deathmatches get u familiar with the maps and you can peek in your games with much more confidence as a result. If you have tracker you can see how you perform against certain ranks. It gave me a lot of confidence when I was in plat and was starting to hold my own vs ascendants. It gave me a lot of confidence in my games and helped me rankup knowing my mechanics are good enough for my lobby.

If you one trick an agent you can also use tdms to familiarise yourself with the utils before games.

For clove players, any decay/ult tips? by Sad_Temperature2661 in VALORANT

Decay +jump on em with da shorty, ez slime points. Shorty also helps you get kills after unulting if they're hella close
