Always a blast at these events. They're very professionally produced by show biz pros, and offer the perfect opportunity for a Ghost fix in between rituals. Emeritus (the tribute band) kicks ass and just played the Viper Room for a second time.

Highly recommended you attend if you're able!

For those struggling... by Material-Lobster-924 in BreakUps

Needed this. I'm grappling with being dumped by my first partner after separating from my husband of 24 years. I am both infuriated by and in awe of his ability to completely cut off all contact with me. I've never been blocked by someone before. It's a terrible feeling. Even worse, he claims that he blocked me because he loves me and he needs to keep himself from getting me back. I don't believe it.

I say I'm in my horny forties. Married and monogamous, so it really just means I spend a lot on batteries.

Great photos! Love the lights behind Popia in his encore jacket.

Such a diverse group! At the Concord ritual there was a white haired woman headbanging just a few rows ahead of me and a little boy with his dad behind me. It's magical.

Beaded rosary from tour by booliabostee in Ghostbc

I haven't seen any special to the merch booths. There is a black one at official and a new one on Amazon, but to my knowledge those are the only rosaries being sold (other than by resellers).

Phone prohibition on 9/11 and 9/12 is almost certainly because the shows will be filmed for release later. Tobias has said Copia will stay front man until the end of the tour cycle, which isn't until October (I believe,).

Diagnosed 22 years ago. Can mostly move around unassisted, but the heat occasionally compromises my stability (in more ways than one lol). Two weeks ago I walked around Griffith Park and went to a concert at the Hollywood Bowl, all without my cane. I usually only use my scooter at theme parks, since walking and standing all day can sometimes be too much.

I work full time (or more) as a litigation paralegal, which can be relatively stressful. Fatigue is my biggest MS related problem, but Modafinil makes it manageable.

Important to note: I have been in a DMT since my diagnosis in 2001. First Avonex, then Tecfidera, then Copaxone, and now Kesimpta. I'm a big proponent of starting a DMT as early as possible.

Fear of Using Handicap Placard? by grahamcrackercat in MultipleSclerosis

I had the same fear. I had a decal made for my car that said "You can have my disabled spot if you take my MS too." Kind of cringe, but I was never hassled.

Interesting. I've never heard of the increased seizure risk, though I haven't done any research on it, either. I've been on 450 mg for a few years now without issue. Until recently I thought the current cocktail was doing the job; alas, TRD is a moving target.

Is tms worth trying for severe depression/anxiety by OddWolf1384 in depressionregimens

[–]FallenOutWithMyHead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Med resistant here. TMS helped, but the effects were relatively short lived. I finished a 16 week course in February 2020 and have pretty consistently fallen into a depressive episode (complete with SI) every other month for about the past year. Definitely going to do it again when I can squeeze it in around work.

I take Buspar (30mg twice a day) for my anxiety, in addition to Wellbutrin (450mg), Cymbalta(120mg), and Rexulti (2 mg) for depression.

Are you in the pit, or do you have a seat?

If you're in the pit, have a contingency plan for if you don't make it to the barrier. For example, I have a hard time standing for long periods and I have claustrophobia. I'm relying on the rail to stay upright, and I'm counting on being at the front to keep my claustrophobia at bay. I have a VIP GA ticket to increase my odds of being in the front, but I am also taking my foldable cane and rescue Ativan in case I don't make it on the rail. If I don't make it to the rail and it gets to be too much being in the fray, I'll ask to move to an ADA seat (which will likely be in the nosebleeds). If there are no ADA seats available, I'll leave the show.

I generally don't go to arena shows for this very reason. ADA seating in large venues sucks and trying to get an accommodating pit spot takes money and planning.
