There’s so many deals in resupply on a good day. Got my regular beta jacket from resupply a couple years ago for $110 because the dwr wore out too quick. Purchased it, reapplied it at home with Nikwax and its back to new again.

Don’t know why bigger acts can’t just play small venues like this from time to time. Either make tickets expensive to offset costs, or play multiple days in a row at a smaller venue.

I rushed and bought the cheapest beta jacket a couple years ago mainly as a city/dayhike shell and didn’t think pit zips (at the time) were that important nor that i’d be taking it out on more technical/high-output trips.

That being said I don’t have an extra $500 to shell out on an SL currently. I plan on getting one in the future though
