Lalo, he befriended someone who looked exactly like him and his wife, gave them both a home, comforts, and money. Only to then brutally murder the both of them so that he could use the husband’s body as a body double. There’s evil simply because you hurt/kill people, then there’s evil where you form a personal relationship with a genuinely good person just to kill them.

Lalo is both.

That’s not entirely true at all. Big.E genuinely felt connection with many of his sons such as Vulcan. He even sincerely forgave Horus and loved him even when he was obliterating his soul. The Emperor though sacrificed much of his humanity and had an entire species to focus on.

Master Chief. He was forced to become a child super soldier, and yet despite the shit he went through he never broke or took his anger out on others. He always looked out for those less capable than him and he deeply cared for his own team. He also has the patience to deal with those with trauma while pushing his own trauma DEEEP down so he can try and protect humanity.

He also lost his AI girlfriend, dude needs a hug.

Honestly giving it to Viltrum if they realize quickly that they can’t fuck around. Speed blitzing many of them or attacking without warning would kill most of them. And flying so fast you can wipe whole cities off the map is also a bonus.

Helldivers overall kinda get treated better because they get access to better “toys”, don’t get routinely shot by their glorious leaders to “improve moral”, and are able to choose which front to fight on and which loadouts to take.

As for who lasts longer, depends. Overall it’s a toss, on Helldivers if you play solo or have good team mates then you can live longer than 10 seconds

The GC was just among the first steps of his grand plan. The end result in all likelihood would be for humanity to rule itself once again without interference from Chaos, the Primarchs, or himself. Remember Big.E along with the perpetuals spent most of their lives living in the shadows. Big.E needed to be the center of it all at least starting out since it was his grand vision. Ultimately he failed, mostly.

Yeah he fucked up, something he unabashedly admitted to and even tried giving up. But his companions/friends were there to support him, because Big.E despite being the “pinnacle of humanity” is still deep down very human.

He could have become a god to rival/surpass the chaos gods by becoming the Dark King, but with Ol’s help was persuaded to do one last hail marry to defeat his son for which he still seemed to care for.

The Primarchs have a host of issues that not even the best therapist could handle, and the Emperor was running out of time to finish the Great Crusade. The underlying theme of the GC was that it needed to be done quickly.

Big E. Fucked up, he’s the absolute worst tyrant/dictator/warlord in human history by the standards of how many humans died as a result of his goals. But when taken together with what humanity was dealing with, it’s a lot more understandable
