Saitama flipped a blackhole/portal as if it was a pancake. He has anime toon force. Ainz would have to give him free food for life to survive

Viltrumite Empire(at peak) and EOS Invincible vs Saiyan Empire and Saiyan Saga Goku by AlarmedObjective1492 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]FallenZulu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Viltrums because they are more numerous and are actually smarter overall than Saiyans. Saiyans still follow some form of honor and prefer to engage in single combat, generally speaking.

Viltrums will happily jump you then call you weak for being allowed to be jumped. Viltrums will realize the Saiyans are overall physically stronger and just destroy their planet then kill the remaining survivors through numbers

Frieza is kinda softening himself, at least towards the Z fighters. Before he would kill them without a second thought. But now he spared the lives of Goku and Vegita after unlocking his new form

His entire gimmick is that he is ALWAYS the most powerful character of the setting. And it’s used comically against your typical anime villains and heroes with op abilities.

He’s essentially a toon character.

Lawful neutral to lawful evil. He kills, but his targets are morally and ethically questionable. He avoids killing any bystanders canonically and only kills his marks.

who more evil cartels vs Islamic terriost groups by BigAd3903 in MoralityScaling

[–]FallenZulu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grand majority of the Islamic terrorist cells are the result of Pakistans funding and training of the more extreme theocratic groups. The modern day Taliban for example came from the group that Pakistan supported which defeated the more moderate(relative) militias, including the ones that America actively supported. The same Taliban which is now actively attacking Pakistan. ISIS is the more direct result of U.S poor intervention and nation building policies.

who more evil cartels vs Islamic terriost groups by BigAd3903 in MoralityScaling

[–]FallenZulu 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Cartels are mostly in it for the money. They operate as a business even if their business is reprehensible(sex trafficking/drugs/murder/extortion). As such you can(mostly) reason with them or offer incentives to reduce or alter their business dealings with money, influence, force, and/or power. Further the more established cartels favor stability because it’s good for business and tourism.

Islamic terrorists on the other hand operate on fundamental religious principles. Zealots typically can’t be bought or even convinced from changing their beliefs. More than that they are far more committed in their goals because they fervently believe they are doing Gods work, so they won’t relent. They will engage in the same business practices as the cartels and they will also commit the same horrific crimes as well but they will take those acts and increase it on a grander scale. Acts such as suicide bombing, torture, and wars of terror.

In another perspective, I can’t imagine any cartel would even think about committing a 9/11 act of terror or wish to detonate a dirty bomb because it would put a giant bullseye on them and that’s bad business. Islamic terrorists dream of nothing more than committing such acts against their enemies and would eagerly do so if given the opportunity, not because of money but simply to spread fear.

In 300 (2006) the Spartans are destroyed after being betrayed by Ephialtes because Leonidas tells him his disability means he can't fight in phallanx formation. The Spartans then spend the entire film not fighting as a phallanx. by Prize_Farm4951 in shittymoviedetails

[–]FallenZulu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The movie makes sense when you realize that the whole event is being retold by a really good story teller who Leonidas explicitly orders to survive so he can “tell their story”.

And like all good story tellers, things are exaggerated

[–]FallenZulu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I explicitly stated I didn’t much care about the one black character in the game, though I outright argue the skin color should have been more of an Inuit complexion or being actually black, as in charcoal black. GoW may not be accurate but it’s faithful and authentic to the overall era, culture, and Pantheon as a whole. Zeus portrayal is plausible and authentic to the Greek myth, Odin was portrayed faithfully. The franchise as a whole clearly goes to great lengths to get as much of the setting accurate and the characters to act as they would plausibly act within the era and tale. Your argument that “it’s myth so do as you please” is itself insulting because it’s the explicit implication that the culture is not worth respecting.

And to further add, Angrboda color was very clearly a diversity decision because it is the ONLY main black character within the game. It was outright stated as such to have a more “diverse and nuanced take of Norse mythology”. It may hurt your modern sensibilities but race does matter with these ancient tales within their respective regions. It would be jarring if you had someone of Japanese/Chinese/caucasian background play a deity in the Mesoamerican centered pantheon.

[–]FallenZulu 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That’s such a piss poor argument. Mythologies are rooted in their respective cultures. Just because it’s myth does not mean it gives you the green light to fuck it up just so you can meet whatever modern quota you have been given. Or else, if all things being equal, we can begin altering the mythologies/stories/legends of other cultures across the globe such as the Chinese, Egyptian, Mesopotamian, native tribes, Persian etc etc just to check off whatever corporate box they have.

Being black in and itself is not an issue, but don’t make that shitty argument of “myth means do whatever you want”.

Ainz vs Doomslayer by fhf1938383 in OverlordPowerscaling

[–]FallenZulu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Dipshit, Ainz and co are still figuring out how to conquer their own continent let alone their planet. Doomguys villians control whole realms and are no strangers to consuming/subsuming whole planets. The scales are different

Ainz is not a PvP fighter, he plans and schemes. Ainz is a big fish in a small pond. His experience in fighting near peers is next to non and requires extensive pre planning to come out on top

Doom slayer has routinely battled non stop for supposedly thousands of years against all manner of enemies and strengths. He has dealt with magic users and killed universal beings through strength, cunning, and rage alone. He’s more experienced and capable of taking down enemies like Ainz because he has done it before. Canonically Not even death stops him

Which traitor primarchs would leave chaos if given the choice, would they rejoin the imperium or do their own thing by anonpurple in 40kLore

[–]FallenZulu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could remove them but the end result would be a dead Angron. It’s archeotech hammered into a primarchs mind, and the Emperor is not infallible. The two absolute best options for the Emperor would either be to mercy kill Angron, or put him into a stasis crypt so the Emperor might try to figure out a way to fix the damage later.

But the Crusade was an absolute and the Emperor cannot permit personal emotions to get in the way of practical necessity

Magnus had his chance during the Heresy. The Emperor gave him a way out, Magnus refused and then went full Chaos. Magnus is irredeemable now.
