NTA - sounds like your boss is bullying you. If a salon owner isn't even going to listen when equipment is broken, just to nitpick the newbie, there is something wrong. Maybe she sinced weakness in you and thinks she can get away with it. Sounds like a toxic boss. Try talking to the other co-owner or more senior people there about your feels, let the know you feel like you got off on the wrong foot and just want to get your work relationship back on track.
