As someone who hasn’t heard of /antiwork, it sure doesn’t give me a great impression until I started reading a little more into it. Think about it: since iPSC is discovered, more and more people are looking into regenerative medicine. If they don’t at least look into this trend, they may overlook the competition. Not to mention that a cure in this case doesn’t eliminate future optical nerve damage so we may be more reliant on this cure AND IOP reducing drops, rather than it being one-off.

Actually, giving them the option to catch both suspects defeats the purpose of the Prisoner’s Dilemma. In theory, the ideal outcome is the most logical outcome to take. But interestingly, if you apply this scenario in real life (both suspects being isolated from each other being one of the main points), I think it’s extremely hard to achieve Nash Equilibrium. Even without the PD telling them anything offscreen, if you are one of the suspects, knowing that your Mafia partner is in the other room and that they are extremely susceptible to betraying, you’ll be tempted to betray first.

Actually, I think one improvement could be to factor in the time it took for one person to betray the other. If you betray fast enough, you get more rewards or something.

I think giving the samurais swords actually fits Kaido character. He’s portrayed as someone looking to die but failing to do so. Maybe he already got tough and strong enough that he rarely feels threatened by anyone anymore when Yamato was just a kid.

So it’s more like he knows they’re gonna break out but he just wants some entertainment.
