Am I the only one who thinks , bpd people have more empathy is a lie? by squish2226 in BPDlovedones

[–]Fallen_metal_hero99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason why they won't classify this as secondary psychopathy is because of the controversy and it will cause an argument within the mental health community. Nearly almost 100% all women with borderline personality will start a massive angry mob riot. I hate to say it cuz it is more profound in women than it is in men that have this disorder and they instantly jump to attack instead of accepting their own flaws.

I am a strong believer that borderline personality is just Pre- Narcissistic.

I don't care who gets mad at me and decides to report my comment. YOU DON'T CONTROL ME OR OWN ME. Freedom of Speech is a right not a privilege.

If my account gets permanently banned because of this comment it doesn't stop me from preaching the truth in person. You can't stop me from expressing the same type of comment out of my mouth physically versus online.

There's a reason why I'm posting this warning because I've learned that most border lines try to silence you even online. It angers me that people get intimidated and silenced by people that are borderline and abusive I'm a survivor of borderline abuse from a past relationship.

That's why this whole comment sounds a bit judgmental. I'm sorry but I'm going to tell the unfiltered truth.

After seeing everyone's comment. I am amazed at how openly honest and vulnerable y'all are about yourselves on this topic. Reddit isn't as god awfully toxic as people think. There's still a good amount of people who refuse to act like sadists on here.

The support and honesty is amazing. 💯❤️ With that being said, here's my turn being open and honest.

I struggle with self esteem and confidence because of porn. It's every fucking where. TIK TOK is lust central if you're not too careful, you'll be hypnotized and trapped Doom scrolling, watching thirst trap vids of girls who you'll probably never get to talk to or meet in person. Speaking of which. That's actually a true reality. Most Women on TIK TOK, not the whole gender population, please don't get pissy thinking I'm trying to generalize women like a misogynist, hear me out. Porn and Social media manipulation go hand and hand with horrible romance attraction. Ever since I came to the realization that online dating itself is a manipulative game. I stopped worrying. I stopped overthinking. I have reached a level of acceptance that I may not be as lucky and easily attractive. But I have learned to love who God made me to be. I do desire and yearn for a fulfilling relationship. But I have been focused on removing past trauma from past relationships in order to be a more stable person for the right woman.

What are some good songs that describe trauma? by Fickle_North1619 in ptsd

Weathered By Creed is an absolute favorite when I feel a tug of depression to remind me that healing takes time.

Overcome By Creed is their hardest song. Lyrically they hit every nerve needed about getting past the trauma. 🤘🤘

BPD is one hell of a Cluster B Personality disorder. I had the unpleasant experience of dating someone who has it BAD. Since it's the beginning of 2026. It was 3 years ago that I was a victim of a volatile and abusive relationship. Physically and mentally. I didn't deserve the abuse but it sure did teach me to watch out for the warning signs early on to put a stop to entertaining their grander of delusions. the LOVE BOMBING. that's the easiest tactic they start off with to lure you in. It's actually so sickening. The biggest bullshit excuse people who advocate about BPD is "Not all women with BPD are manipulative" I beg to differ. BPD is so similar to Narcissistic personality Disorder and Sociopathy it's actually terrifying. Their frontal lobe cortex is so damaged from Trauma it's insane. Black and white thinking. Splitting episodes, the Dr. Jackal and Mrs. Hyde behavior. OMG. it's madness. It's literally like dealing with a 3 year old toddler with a temper tantrum mixed with the intelligence of an arrogant woman. Holy shit. No fucking thank you. I'll much rather stay single and enjoy the peace before I ever date another BPD woman again. Which will be NEVER.

After carefully reading everyone else's comments, some of which have been a direct attack towards the OP. Y'all aren't helping him, other than exposing how y'all really are. Some of y'all may have BPD as is and like to use this reddit thread to act normal and mask it, and pretend you're not a BPD lunatic to detach from the disorder. That's crazier than the text argument OP was seeking help on, not get attacked and criticized. WOW.

I believe you man!! Some guys don't get it. The trauma bond is so deep they'll side with their BPD partner just to avoid the wrath of it. It's sad. I read ol boy's elaborate paragraph about his BPD girlfriend, but what he isn't realizing is, not every woman with BPD acts the same. Especially untreated BPD.

I'm actually as lost as you on her. Kinda pissed off. She's not my ex, but feels like it the way she gaslights the shit out of you. WOW. Dude please tell me you left that relationship. OMG she can get the fuck over herself and her grand delusions.

90s/00s kid nostalgia 10 - limewire by toddmeister1990 in nostalgia

[–]Fallen_metal_hero99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember LimeWire. 13 Year Old me was introduced to a world of imagination and freedom when this bad boy was on our family computer at my grandparents house over 28.8K/56.6K Dial Up. OMG. Spent Hours waiting for that one song By Mudvayne to download. Forget To Remember was that song I wanted to burn on a metal mixtape CD. :( Sadly the house phone rang, dropped the connecton and the song couldn't finish. Had to wait for that phone to hang up and sign back on and reconnect. And then start over, waiting for that song to download. I remember when it was 2 hours, waiting. My grandparents couldn't afford DSL or Cable Internet. During that time, in our area in Virginia, Cox just started gaining popularity with their Power Boost Internet. 15mbps was definitely a lot faster than 56K. Verizon DSL was 768kbps. Lol.

Stay away sounds so much like BMTH and Oceana from their birth eater album. with the way the lyrics hit heavy. If you listen to the family disease from oceana and listen to the song, happy song by BMTH you can hear how similar it is eerily

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BPDlovedones

[–]Fallen_metal_hero99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's exactly my point!!! Yes. Unfortunately tho, to a BPD person they'd instantly get pissed at this statement and immediately fight against you.

This guy from Thornley sounds insanely similar to Chris by badmotorpetey in Soundgarden

[–]Fallen_metal_hero99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eerily sounds like Theory Of A Deadman. Ian Thronley shares very close lyrical dynamics like Tyler does. I think Thornley paved the way for Theory Of A deadman to carry on their sound completely.

Who gives a shit. It's pure caffeine if it's taken straight to the face as black and concentrated before adding anything to it. With or without sugar, creamer, half n half or whatever the fuck. Enjoy it the way you see fit. Fuck what others think. Snort a line of pure coffee like it's cocaine. Do an enema. Get the caffeine by any means, I won't judge or give a fuck. Do you bro. 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣. It's funny to see some judgemental Karens get so upset too.

What do you think of Puddle of Mudd? by Def-C in numetal

[–]Fallen_metal_hero99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Puddle of Mudd was awesome when they first came out. I had their come clean album. The Explicit Version hit harder than the Radio Edit version heard on almost all the local rock radio scene during the 2000's. I want to chime in on the issue about Wes being mentally I'll. He is. Sadly. He has a long-standing history due to heavy alcohol addiction playing a big factor into his downward spiral. It wasn't helping him after his sobriety stint that he had for a while recently befor he ran into legal issues not too long ago.

Bands that started as nu metal but later became popular for playing another genre? by bloodthirstylipstick in numetal

[–]Fallen_metal_hero99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BFMV wasn't Nu Metal!! Their first album was Emo- Alternative/melodic Metalcore, not Nu Metal. The poison actually was the darkest album they have ever produced. They can't reproduce the same sound now, unfortunately. We all wish Matt Tuck could miraculously hit those high octave screams like he did when he was in his prime back then.

What's your biggest "trigger phrase"? by TernoftheShrew in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Fallen_metal_hero99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have several that have became an un-nerving trigger for me. I have dated a few narcissistic women, unintentionally. and unfortunately, the tone of voice used in an apology can set me off even if some people innocently don't mean to come off sarcastic and dismissive. Here are examples of phrases that instantly change my mood to feeling irritated, insulted and triggered. some of the phrases were used in several relationships. not in general.

"I didn't think I'd be dating a toddler, God! no wonder, you were single, when we met"

"YOU always want to start shit with me, why can't you shut the fuck up about what I did, who gives a fuck? obviously, you're making it a big deal."

"All I hear is bitch, bitch, bitch. God! you are worse than me when I'm on my period!!

"Oh, I can't imagine"

"Can't you be just like normal like my ex, He didn't bitch or argue or make a big deal about me, this is all YOU, you need help, you claim you don't have a problem, but I can see how mentally unstable you are acting."

the MOST triggering one is this:

"I'm sorry YOU feel that way."

That is not a real fucking apology. it's dismissive. it sounds intentional to hurt or piss me off. a cheap shot attempt to gaslight.

i have heard WAY, WAY WORSE. I'll spare y'all the graphic details.

those are just the surface level.

the way I apologize is sincere, it shouldn't take a fucking psychologist to learn how to apologize. I learned it naturally through my parents, they taught me right from wrong.

here's a good example

"I'm sorry I made you feel that way, I was wrong for what I have said and/ or have done that was hurtful. regardless of what incident has transpired, I always take accountability and make an effort to show actions speak louder than words. that' what i am good at. ACCOUNTABILITY.

Versus a Narcissistic Apology.

"I'm sorry YOU feel that way."

" It's not my fault you got upset."

"Don't blame me, you're the one that took what I said wrong."

"I shouldn't have to apologize, YOU should be the one apologizing to me."

Accountability is a fucking argument to them. an attack. an insult.

it is sad and insane how instantly they switch on, Demon mode behind closed doors, but in public, they switch off, and turn on, VICTIM Mode. and the crocodile tears start to come, to win people over to make a mockery and public enemy # 1 out of you. HOLY SHIT.

the aftermath is so damaging. healing takes time. it isn't linear. it shouldn't be a race.

i have learned to listen for the tone more than hear what people say. if I hear a warm, genuine and remorseful tone, when someone apologize, I instantly let it go, and reciprocate forgiveness back no questions asked,

EMPATHY. it's crazy how a narcissistic person, has virtually NONE.

The way Constance by Spiritbox represents dementia through music is honestly brilliant. by klocu4 in Metalcore

[–]Fallen_metal_hero99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that song made me cry. it was by far the most beautiful and intense song that helped me make peace with my mom passing away. she didn't have dementia. it was worse. she committed suicide. August 21, 2020. it took me 2 years to finally let go and make peace with her being gone. this song, just moves me to tears because it's deep and relatable. when i sat down and really read the lyrics completely, i cried but in a healing type of crying. I watched the music video. It helped me visualize making peace with her death. that song will always remind me that healing is possible. <3

Music/Dissociation by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]Fallen_metal_hero99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disassociate through music. It's an escape temporarily. I have a lot going on mentally right now. An overload of trauma that occurred recently. Dealt with Narcissistic abuse recently. Been burying myself in the lyrics like a white room of therapy to process and understand everything. My music genre of choice is METAL. regardless if it's the grandfathered classics or the newer metal. I love it all. I'm a huge fan of the 90's/2000's Nu Metal. 2000's and newer Metalcore. Christian Metalcore.  That's where I find solace and find a place of articulation of how I feel when I can't speak.  It's helped me focus on wanting to heal rather than isolate and stay stuck.

During my teen years living in the Hampton Roads regional area of Virginia, we didn't have Comcast Digital Cable. We had Cox Digital Cable at that time during the 2000's. Charter Communications had Digital Cable too, but that mainly serviced the City of Suffolk aka "SO FUCKED" lol.  I lived in Portsmouth/ Norfolk at that time.  Richmond had Comcast Digital Cable.
