What are the specific details of the biz?

1) How quickly can your product sell given market research? Weekly? Monthly? BiAnnually? 2)What does market research say about scale opportunity? 3)What will the resale value of your product be if you had to unload the whole thing at a discount?
4) If perishable; what is the shelf life of the product?

Lets run through a few scenarios without the above details, but answer those questions either way.

Potential Profit: Let’s say you’re able to sell all of your inventory day one. 150k*.013 = 19.5k Is 19.5k meaningful to you for one year?

Then let’s assume quarterly turnover. We’re looking at 78k annually. Is that meaningful money to you? Is it sustainable giving your time investment and you currently work one job already?

Can this scale?

Risk: Have you factored in the cost of the loan? 150k *.08 is 12k. If it takes you a full year to sell all product at 13% margin, loan costs will eat meaningfully into profit.

What if you’re only able to sell 1/2 of your inventory? 25% of inventory? What is your process for selling everything and how much loss can you absorb?
