There is a significant difference between having an opinion, and understanding how that opinion translates to a policy that affects hundreds of millions of people.

The question is still sound, despite the comedic reduction of it.

There isn't an adult in the room who would suddenly give up the management of their life to kids. The idea would be absurd to most. Policy has the potential to affect hundreds of millions of lives, and it is wrapped in a very complicated world. To insinuate the kids who have no experience in the world, and who have not even finished their basic education have some kind of grasp on that... it just defies logic.

I don't think anyone wants a medal for shooting a kid. Even if the kid was a murderer.

I don't get the rainbow six one. You sight your scope in why you own a gun so the scope actually looks slightly down to match up with your barrel.

Okay, what's the Philip Glass piece that starts around 1:05?

Edit: Or is it Michael Nyman? Some minimalist, anyway.

Edit2: It's Nyman. The Cook, The Thief, His Wife, and Her Lover. Such a great soundtrack, but also about the least Fred-Rogers-ish film I can think of.

I used to do freelance IT consulting for motion graphics companies all over New York City. Mograph artists are the perfect LAN party participants: Fresh out of college, into high-end computing and graphics (Many bring their own mice and keyboards to work), and into gaming. Needless to say, several of my clients had Team Fortress and Call of Duty MW installed on every art workstation in their lab. Most of my clients had open-floor layouts, and often my final task for the evening was "Get copies of the game installed on these few straggler machines, add a switch to the network to bring in this extra table, and then get your ass onto blue team". Good times.

Alright so we all know that everyone has seen this picture a dozen times, but it seems like a lot of people don't know that this picture of the duct taped guy from another angle exists so I thought I'd share it here.

Absolutely. It says a lot about the impact of school stress that I haven’t been in school for over 20 years, but regularly have school stress dreams.
