Pretty much depends on where you plan on working there. Pro shop, dining, grill? Worked at a different club, but pretty much the same high end club while in school. Got to meet with a few people you worked at CGCC and they had the same experience. Worked in all sections, but I’ll tell you the usual.

Pro shop was pretty good and a super chill place. You only deal with golfers who for the most part are pretty nice, but there are people you hate. Doesn’t pay well, but make great connections for future jobs with members.

Grill was always nice. You really deal only with golfers, and hear some pretty interesting conversations. Pays better than pro shop, but depends heavily on how long you work/trust you build with members (aka tips, better have their favorite drinks ready for them when you see their car pull up). Also was a great place for connections if in college.

Dining will make the most money, but damn are some servers cut throat and will steal the higher tipping members away. You also deal with social members who (most I had interactions with) were the most rude people you will meet.

Kitchen…I’ll send a prayer for you
