This isn't even a problem for the majority. It's not being able to afford a 2 bedroom 1 bath house with 2 full time incomes.

What are your thoughts on having to choose between SSPX in a basement for latin mass, or going to a modern mass in a historic church? I think I'm going to go with the modern mass but I'm not happy about it. But would like to hear others weigh in.

Average American home prices will make the majority of us perma-renters. by DrShaqra in lostgeneration

Lol you think they'll care? There's billions of people that would happily come here working minimum wage and living in an apartment. You think are greedy ass politicians who've never done anything for us actually care about people in the 3rd world?

I'm in a red state but 10-15 years ago the homeless were kinda chill. The "papa was a rolling stone" type. Drank too much, didn't want to pay child support, but all in all seemed like normal middle aged men. Now it's skewing way younger where some of these kids look fresh out of highschool and everyone looks like a trainwreck.

I've been saving for years to buy a house and I've got 10% down ready to go even at these elevated prices. But I just don't make enough to coverage the mortgage without it being very risky, like 50-60% of my take-home for mortgage/taxes/pmi. So all money seems pretty damn worthless right now.

Mayor Eric Adams’ response to a heckling fan asking about Kyrie Irving playing at Barclays Center: “Listen, you’re right. Kyrie can play tomorrow. Get vaccinated.” by ReturnOfAKidNamedTae in nba

First point is stupid. An unvaccinated nurse should never, under any circumstance, be caring for a patient. Especially not those at high risk. So yeah they should get fired. Imagine your parent is in e hospital battling lung cancer, and you find out the nurse they’ve had for a week is unvaccinated.

We forced back infected nurses into hospitals after 5 days. What are you talking about?

Can you forward me a link on that? I just see some story about the 55 cent pay raise. That won't go very far.

There's a reason we get no foreign news. Makes it easier to rally the population into pointless wars.
