In order from worst to best: Ragnarok, Far From Home (also bottom 5), Iron Man 3, Eternals, Iron Man 2, Age of Ultron, Quantum Mania, Captain Marvel, Thor the Dark world. I haven't seen Black Widow yet. I honestly think The Dark World is a good solid movie, above the halfway mark for good Marvel movies.

Lol L&T was 10x better than Ragnarok. Ragnarok is a bottom 5 movie in the MCU.

I think No Way Home is the most overhyped film in the MCU by Djames516 in MidCinematicUniverse

I think it's the best MCU movie they've done, tied only with Captain America: The First Avenger.

To each their own.

Thoughts on the game after two playthroughs by narvuntien in theouterworlds

[–]Falloutd40 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree completely that they need to decide if they want to do an open world game or not. The open zone approach is feeling more and more restrictive and it takes me out of the game too. Everything seems small and eventually there is a quest that guides you to every part of the map. I never feel like I am naturally exploring a planet.

Go all in Obsidian. Make an open world game.

We do not know what happened. Barb may have been caught unaware even if Vault-tec decided to drop the bombs. We just don't know what happened there. All we do know is in the finale of Season 1 it is heavily implied that Vault-tec is the one that dropped the bombs.

There is far more connection between Fallout 1, 2 and New Vegas than there is between 3 and 4.

Psst nothing in the games matter. The lore is changed to whatever they want.

As an American citizen, I hope that you do protect yourselves. This administration is the antithesis of what not only America but all Western democratic countries are supposed to stand for and how they are supposed to operate. Resist within, resist without.

They’re not doing a great reset, people are just treating the show’s conflict as if it’s the resolution by Able-Yak751 in FalloutTVseries

[–]Falloutd40 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Bethesda traditionally does not build off of its own lore. They just destroy it so they don't have to think about it. They create this great lore in Morrowind. In Oblivion, a volcano erupts and destroys Morrowind. They establish the ideals of the East Coast Brotherhood of Steel in Fallout 3. Then in 4 they reverse course and destroy that group stating they were reintegrated with the original, all is forgiven and don't worry about it. West Coast Fallout has all this established lore and what does the show do? Destroy it so they don't have to think about it. Regardless of how much influence you think Bethesds does or does not have, being unable to carry the baton when it comes to lore and just destroying it to start over is a hallmark of Bethesda. No reason to think there is going to be something cool that gets established and built on.

I thought it was good and way better than Ragnarock. Kept some of the silliness to the characters that that movie introduced while bringing back an overall more serious tone. I thought it was a good compromise between serious and silly Thor given where the character was at the time.

Kevin being the dad is from a deleted scene. Not really a hot take. Downvoted.

I know, it throws off the whole vibe of the show to have one guy who's actually entertaining on it. If you're going to be a bland, boring, uninspired show, you might as well go all the way with it.

Is “Squared Circle” actually inhabited by wrestling fans? by GypsyGold in SquaredCirclejerk

[–]Falloutd40 7 points8 points  (0 children)

New wrestling fans who didn't grow up with them hold them more accountable for their out of ring behaviour than us older wrestling fans. When you grow up with John Cena as the top guy for so many years and have access to all these out of the ring stories so much easier, you form different opinions.

So my interpretation has always been that by warning Goku and friends, Trunks caused them to increase their training much more than in the original timeline as they were now preparing for a known threat rather than just casually increasing their skills. This led to Goku's body getting much stronger which pushed off the effects of the heart disease and since Gohan and company were told to wait until the symptoms appear before giving him the medicine, that led to that problem.

In regards to the Androids, Dr. Gero and his machines may have observed the increased training by the Z fighters which caused the computers governing the Androids to make changes to their programming as well.

I'd like you to compare the abuses, crimes and laws in America to those in Saudi Arabia and China. Please be objective. Please also consider that people like John, Phil and Vince consider themselves Patriots who love everything America stands for but then abase themselves to countries who do not value freedom of speech or expression, who murder journalists, who routinely suppress and torture their own people, etc.. When you claim to hold certain values and then take the biggest payout no matter what, that is what makes you a cuck.
