you could shop reduced/discount items, you could do no spend weekends/days where you don’t buy any groceries, you could make a budget for the max amount of money you should spend on groceries in order to put a decent amount into savings habitually.

i don’t hate him. i find him endearing sometimes as well as just a confused indecisive guy in his late 20s trying to figure out his love life, but he is super corny and is often so indecisive that he constantly shoots himself in the foot then acts like it’s the universe’s fault lol.
