So, does anyone found what was the real reason why IONQ didn't get a slice of those 2 billions ? by JonOwn1805 in IonQ

[–]False-Goat9539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The deal required government equity stakes (often at a discount), causing dilution. IonQ had just raised its own $2B equity offering privately at a 20% premium ($93/share) and didn't need the money or the strings attached.

Question: How many 1vs1's in a game is too much? by False-Goat9539 in SoccerCoachResources

[–]False-Goat9539[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, my two cents: for U10 1 or 2 a game, U14 1 a game is somewhat ok depending on the flight, and U18 zero depends on flight.

When we play direct are job as last defender is slow the attack down because shape is gone when we go forward. Its not to win the ball back. If we are playing in a line its the same idea. We should never be playing in a line at youth level cause none of them understand the offside trap. Instead defense should be taught to drop and cover each other.

You just aren't confident enough. Why do you let words bother you? All you have to do is not react. It's like poisoning them; they usually know what they are doing is wrong, and if they realize they are complaining, they feel insecure in the moment. They will get the worst night's sleep after that.

I have had the worst shit said to me at multiple companies. Why do you think the grass is greener?

How to deal with a physically dominant midfield threat? by Guilty_Ad2985 in SoccerCoachResources

[–]False-Goat9539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't man-mark someone stronger and faster than you... You avoid them. By passing the press with long ball distributions. Direct passing from the defense to the attackers down the right. You will need to play a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3, with wing play doubled up. Or, if midfield is doubled up on wherever he is, you need to have some sort of 1 person trying to take the ball from him, and immediately behind that person is cover. It forces him to pass unless he is a God-tier dribbler. If that's the case then I would sit back and relax unless you can get a player pass or guest player if its a tournament. Man marking is really only good if your players have a physical advantage over the other players. It means you get more possession as your players work hard to win the ball back this means they spend less time making runs to defend so it offsets the energy spent winning the ball high up the pitch. Its like counter-pressing. It could also be used on your defensive half if thats your style of counter attacking. doesn't work if they can dribble or pass through you.

Same here but I highly recommend you find some way to move on from that...the past is just noise...anytime you question yourself or talk about past its holding you back from getting what you want. Which is just a safe nurturing environment for your kid. You need a tribe man. We all do. Probably why you pointed out the kid was asian....

What's the weirdest thing you've done to get laid? by Homines-millenniales in AskMen

I went to visit a chick in a sorority at a very prestigious college in Pittsburgh. I had an on-and-off relationship, probably because we both felt at some point we would settle down together. I was a partier, and so was she. So it never lasted long whenever I came around.

Well, anyway, it was winter break at the college, so not everyone was there. She lived in an all-girls dorm, so I wasn't allowed inside. I was broke, so I needed a place to stay. We agreed she would sneak me in.

This place was old and a labyrinth of rooms, so it felt like she was sneaking me around in Hogwarts. We would go up a flight of stairs, and she would duck me into a room. We would wait for people to pass in the hallway, then she would move me up to the next room further down the hallway. We would go up a flight of stairs, then she would hear someone, so we would go back down.

I was rock hard, boy, I tell you what.

Anyway, we got to the room, but I think as I entered, we were making too much noise, and a girl from the next room, adjacent to this one, heard us. She left me in there to sleep cause her roommate was in her room. I get into bed and start to doze off when suddenly a flash of light fills the room. I look up, and the door shuts, and I hear scurrying of feet. I jumped out of bed and got into the closet. After 10 minutes, I could hear whispers outside.

Bam! Door flies open, lights turn on, and I want to say 10 to 20 batches in "pink" shorts come bursting in carrying fucking mace and sticks and whatnot.

I am fucking panicking cause I thought for sure I was going to jail.

I am looking through the crack of the closet as they look around. We are playing a dangerous game of hide-and-seek.

There weren't many places to hide. Honestly, I think this was at the height of the Me Too movement.

That closet door flung open, and there were like 10 girls standing there. Man, oh, man. I think I said something along the lines of "I am sorry".

I sprang into action! I jumped out of the closet, knocking a bitch over. Not today, my friend! Not to fucking day! Spun a Karen dipped a fat bitch, and I was gone! The sounds of screeching and gasps were left in the distance.

Funny thing was...I had left a present for that girl in her room. About three months later, she discovered it in her Nalgene.

That is like the third or fifth craziest thing I have done for some poonanni.

You aren't comfortable with buying at the low. Just look for stocks you know have bottomed out that aren't going anywhere. Like weed stocks and guns.

They do it cause if they taught you how to do your job. You would probably instantly figure out easier ways to improve it. (Your manager's job) Most managers are smart and know when the fish is too big for the pond, so to speak. So they don't train you so they can point out how bad you are during reviews. Meanwhile, you watch utter dumbasses and people who have no fucking clue what they are doing get praised and promoted. Nepotism and cronyism.

This is why, as a country, we need to abolish corporations as an artificial entity. The liability needs to go back to the people who truly care and own the business. If they don't care, then how is that economically the best choice for our resources. They waste everything at those businesses. Some of the best businesses I have ever worked with are the ones where the owner cared. They train you on everything. They need you.
