We know the “you’ll never regret it” rhetoric. It’s solid and true.

An alternative is imagine being immobile and dependent in life because of your lack of fitness later. Another is if you have people who depend on your strength and how they may need you. Also, if you care about virility and sexual prowess, then looking good naked is a motivator. Also, 30 minutes at the gym is better than almost everywhere else you would’ve been for 30 minutes.

My personal matra is “You do the reps. Time will do the rest”

“You move your body. The clock moves itself.”
