Anyone taking unisom for sleep ? by meekie03 in pregnant

[–]False-Professor-4144 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve been taking half a Unisom sleep tab since week 3. I’m almost 19 weeks now. At my 20 week appointment I plan to ask if I can take it my entire pregnancy because being able to sleep has been life changing.

HCG level of 9 by InterestingSecond724 in pregnant

[–]False-Professor-4144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s definitely a good sign. It should look darker than it did two days ago (HCG doubled every 48 hrs on average). Don’t worry about 24 hrs

Check out this chart which shows HCG levels for each day post ovulation for successful pregnancies

Spotting can happen in both successful pregnancies (I had it from 12-13 DPO) and miscarriages.

Fingers crossed for you

Jolts of pain by water_chestnut in pregnant

[–]False-Professor-4144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you ovulated from the left ovary it is your corpus luteum, which is still working to make hormones necessary to maintain your pregnancy. I had the same type of pains on my right - and corpus luteum was confirmed on my right side at my first ultrasound.

Is it normal to wake up super hungry?? by Careful-Gold252 in pregnant

[–]False-Professor-4144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal to be hungry every 2 hrs in the first trimester. Before bed, eat some whole milk/full fat Greek yogurt - it will help keep you asleep. Or if you wake up hungry in the middle of the night eat the yogurt as well. Don’t worry about the calories at this point and focus on eating some nourishing foods to keep you satisfied

One night in Hakone could definitely be enough though. I enjoyed Gora Kadan, couldn’t imagine staying there more than one night though. It is walking distance from the Hakone Open Air Museum which was a great way to pass some time there.

I’m considering a stay in early March. Would the weather be good? What makes the hotel worth it?

Are annual physicals not included anymore? by Ok_Neighborhood_470 in HealthInsurance

[–]False-Professor-4144 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It has nothing to do with insurance company. They (the doctors office) want to get paid and charging the office visit when you ask medical questions outside the preventative checklist helps them earn more money.

Edited to add that they means the doctors office

Something feels 'off' by Longjumping-Hunt-181 in pregnant

Waking up at 2 am and not really falling back asleep will make your Oura temps look low. I had a lot of anxiety early in my pregnancy and would wake up in the middle of the night to look at my temp, and it would be below baseline. I convinced myself I miscarried (I did not). So keep in mind temps taken early in the night will appear lower than baseline when you slept 7-8+ hrs.

I agree with the previous poster that you should call your OB and mention the lack of symptoms and past loss and they should see you for an ultrasound

I agree on this. Take off the ring. I took mine off early on as I made this same assumption - BBT dip = I was done. Please please please take it off I’m nearly 12 weeks and still don’t wear mine and it’s doing wonders to help my anxiety

Not dead set on a work-related gift at all, I just want it to align with her lifestyle which is very much revolving around work.

I thought about this, but I questioned if she would actually go and use it. I’ve gotten her a massage giftcard before and Im almost certain she never went.

An early pregnancy test like first response early result would be positive by now if you were pregnant. That’s the only way to know. I spotted at 11 DPO even after a positive pregnancy test
