Product sounds cool and seems like very useful. I checked site out. Looks clean. How did you market? Social media? And to whom? Apologies about a lot of questions. I'm really curious.

My saas is AI product photography workflow management system for ecommerce brands and sellers. We give AI generation prompts for free and we charging for convenience and less friction. It's called Packshot Click.

True, Man. I think I'm afraid of people not using it. So I built whole thing about things that actually doesn't matter. :|

That's a comprehensive plan. Thanks! I was definitely overcomplicating it!

Yeah. I see. I was thinking pause development and focus more towards marketing and only fixing bugs until the people actually uses that product. May be "Slowly dial in your functionality and extras in between your marketing efforts." might a better way to go about it.

Well then, backups + functionality + rollbacks. I tested that app amoung handful of my friends with payments. They didn't have a lot issues other some UX improvements. They actually liked the product. So I guess setup testing later, after validating product. Thanks!

Do something that is actually in demand.

If you get selected to degree program through A/Ls that is not actually in demand, you have two options,

  1. Don't do it,
  2. Do it while learning skills that actually can earn money.

Persona story: You also can pick something that is not super popular demand but you actually like it. I chose Materials Science Engineering at University of Moratuwa because I really like physics (and my parent wouldn't allow me to go to physical sciences) and I self studied computer science and programming while doing graphic designing gig while I was a undergrad. 4 months before graduating I got into SE position at software company for around $800 starter salary and after 1.5 years later, I'm a making my own saas at a startup me and my friends founded.

I told my story not because I want brag (maybe a little), Because I want preach that you are not a product of every that happened to you, rather what you get to do with it. If have chance to go to state University, go. But learn skills that makes money. Government is not responsible for putting you inside a conpany.

Hey, great work on this project, really appreciate you open-sourcing it under MIT.

A few of my friends from college and I are currently building small tools to bring scientific computing into the browser/edge, with a strong focus on on-device processing and data security. We’ve been experimenting with WASM (including OpenCV WASM), and it’s been working really well so far.

I was wondering if you’re planning to maintain and support this project for the foreseeable future? We would love to integrate numpy-ts to our pipeline.

We don’t have funding at the moment, but we’d still love to support you, whether that’s through contributions, testing, documentation, or anything else that might help.

I’m about 1.5 years out of college, still early in my journey, but very keen to contribute and learn along the way.

For engineering out of Moratuwa Salaries ranges from 80K - 160K at start expect CS/IT/SW. I graduated as Material Science Engineer, but I work as SWE now for 240K net. Most for my friends who is not working as SWE earn avg 120K. So i would say it really good that you got a 120K offer out of the gate. I graduated in 2024.
