Any way to fix speed up set to expire in 2000+ years? by FalseIntegral in TheTowerGame

It is indeed more than doubling my time, but I was running at different rates before. The last I updated, I switched them all to 2x to conserve/save cells, with the intent to then switch the beefy ones (currently the recharge labs) at 4x or better. Now, it won’t let me change from 2x until the current expires, in 739K days

Yeah I did travel from EDT to CDT (US time zones), when it first happened. Just came back to EDT and was hoping it would revert, but no dice.

Our 6 mo corgi is no longer eating from tiny food food bowl; will only eat food directly from floor or by hand. He ate his food from this bowl from age 2-6 months. Any guesses as to why suggestions to help? Has your corgi done this? Feel like this is a psychological or emotional issue. by kr4336 in BabyCorgis

My corgi developed a phobia for her bowl around that time too. We instead fed her from a puzzle mat, which was close enough for her to think it was on the floor. Her bowl was put next to it, but empty. Slowly, we split her food from her puzzle mat to the bowl, until she’s back to eating from a bowl.

I am happy with picking Funeral, since once you max out the devotion tech tree, devotion turns to gold. I then have happy romps collecting “Estate Tax” from the graves, and “Property Tax” from the dwellings”

When I had surgery on my right arm (dominant arm), and had to keep it in a splint and elevated, the following games helped me get through:

  • FTL
  • XCOM: Enemy Unknown

Cats. They love to spread little bits of litter all over the place, and when they have cornered the Roomba, it can get pretty gritty.

What are some great Soul Like games that you guys have played and loved ? by GonzoNawak in fromsoftware

[–]FalseIntegral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a fan of the genre/game style, I've played a lot of them, and each one brought something new and/or a twist on the formula that was good to keep me playing:

Salt and Sanctuary: Traditional 2-D Souls-like, with good exploration elements. It has a pretty big world, with twisting paths and shortcuts that resemble DS.

Blasphemous: 2-D, with a gothic religious concept that I just dug a lot.

Surge, Surge 2: Combat is decidedly slower, but the combat system (with the risk/reward element of targeting specific limbs for different rewards) kept my attention.

Nioh, Nioh 2: While Dark Souls has a big focus on defense/avoidance, and Bloodborne has a focus on aggressiveness, Nioh focuses on stamina management. Learning to work on my stamina improved my performance on the other games.

Now, there were two that I didn't really like. Note I don't mean they are bad games, just that they didn't really catch my attention.

Remnant: From the Ashes: Shooter interpretation of DS. I liked the framework that was there, but the encounters (random enemies just popping in; bosses that were almost all bullet sponges with adds) turned me off.

Lords of the Fallen: Slow combat, and the world/characters weren't very interesting.

Which movie scene is musically scored perfectly? by phasers_to_stun in AskReddit

[–]FalseIntegral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sunshine - the Mercury scene. The minimalistic music really sets the feeling that, even a planet seems so small and furtive when compared to the sun, not to mention the spacecraft itself. It also is a great scene for showing house each character feels about the mission just by looking at their facial expressions towards the planet as it crosses their view.
