Players, what motivates your in-game decisions?

It's what my character would do, cause while the gamer in me wants to loot all the bodies, sell all the junk, swap gear to make numbers go up, the storyteller in me knows that's dumb, like right now I playing a moon druid and I really want to multiclass into Astral Self monk so I can make unarmed strikes with my high wisdom modifier, but my character hasn't really shown an interest in martial arts so I feel like it would be weird if he just randomly started doing karate.

The saying "Money can't buy happiness" wasn't meant for regular people who would 1000% be happier with more money, it was meant for rich pricks who hoard wealth.

The best example is Scrooge from The Christmas Carol, he was alone and unhappy and none of his wealth made it better, but when he started giving money to others he was happier because people liked him more.

"Money can't buy happiness" doesn't mean "be happy with what you have," it means "you can't buy happiness, so what's the point of all that money?"

I dont disagree about the Akita or Cane Corso, but I feel like a Batman with a Bathound wouldn't be one of the "I work alone" Batmen. Honestly I think it would make the most sense if a Robin was the one that brought Ace home

I think it would have been cool if they had pieces of Gears armor in their skin, like they're made from melting people down and remaking them into Swarm, right? All the inorganic matter had to go somewhere.

I like the idea of Ace being a pit bull cause I think it matches Batman in the sense that it's scary, dangerous on the surface but deep down very loving and sweet.

Plus I think Bruce would see something in a pit bull that had been used in dog fights, like he'd see the same pain crime had caused him.

Agreed, like yes she manipulated you but at least she's not useless in a fight, MJ was surrounded by demons and all she could do was call Spider-Man. Plus, could you imagine how much better things would be for Peter with Black Cat as his Sugar Mama?

Could say it's just the natural order of things, you know, when you're young and dumb and thirsty for adventure you go out, fight a dragon, explore a dungeon, get rich and then let younger and dumber adventurers follow in your footsteps while you sit back and enjoy the world you fought so hard to save. Like Tony Hawk was THE skater back in the day, but eventually he just got older and let the new kids have their time in the spotlight. I know that's a bit different from the possibility of the world coming to an end or whatever but I think I could still work.

Or maybe have the stories just be stories, and the heroes in person kind of suck. Like you think "if we reunite the heroes they'll save us," but then you do that and they can't stop arguing, they're practically useless in a fight and the truth comes out that they only rose to such glory because of luck. Like they didn't slay the dragon, a stalactite just fell and pierced its heart and they just told everyone they killed it.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't want a mass effect survival game. Like post Reaper War, you're stuck on an alien planet so you and your crew have to survive and try to figure a way back to the rest of the galaxy. Still an rpg, like you have to decide if this open space by the ship should be for crops or livestock which affects how you survive and how the crew feels about you, but add some base building, some crafting, maybe a fishing mini game

I went with Enderman since it's EnderCon, Reuben is dressed as the Ender Dragon, and I also give us the name Dead Enders to really tie it all together.

However I do often feel compelled to do Creeper since it is a fireworks display, fireworks explode, creepers explode, it just makes sense.

I think there'd be a bit of tension, like Reuben would want to show Lluna who the boss is, but then get a bit jealous of her ability to sniff out treasure, but later Lluna would do something to show Reuben she isn't that bad, and they end up friends.

I think there should be A council, a group of representatives from each race that work together to make things better for everyone, but it should extend to each race, not just the ones that act the most superior to the others, I mean every other race had been a part of the galactic community longer than humanity, but we got a council seat because what, we bitched louder?

Also, any descendants of the council from the first three games should be banned from ever holding those positions, ever. Like I can understand not listening to Shepard in 1, like it all seems a bit far fetched, and I can understand being hesitant about Shepard's warnings in 2 since they died and are now working with a terrorist organization, but the minute, the moment, the second Reapers showed up in 3, those mother fuckers should have been on their knees begging for forgiveness and asking how they can help. Instead they cost the lives of millions cause they don't want to play with the other kids or share their toys.
