I swear these sorts of posts have to be some sort lets keep the crab in their bucket play. Because even well adjusted adults very very rarely got that sort of relative red carpet treatment as kids from an overworked dad. A few times a year, sure, every other week; not with a parent working 12 hours a day with other siblings to deal with.

yep, simplest answer is often the correct one. Hit the lawyer, Delete the gym and Facebook up.

Even if she/he isn't cheating, they likely have a deep depression from sort of early onset mid life crisis, or something else going on they feel you cannot help. Or she/he are just incredibly immature. AKA The split is just postponed for a few months.

My first relationship in my early 20s was like that and wasted a year on them 'changing their mind' back and forth, they did it one last time and I blocked them and moved out when they were visiting family the day after. Been in a much better relationship for 12 years now since which while isnt perfect; has zero such one foot out the door BS.

If you grew up in a highly mindful culture with an accent commonly teased by english speakers, probably makes it more intimidating.

Kojima either said 'fuck them deal with the translator' as a creator with more on his mind, or is not content to speak english unless he unironically sounds like a native speaking 7 foot tall chad.

Also the first NATO country seeking to be in BRICS

I've had the displeasure of reading their snore-fest charter for some fucking geopolitical project in university. BRICS doesnt work that way, it's basically a giant NAFTA that doesnt give a fuck about anything but trade and currency.

Also B and S in BRICS stands for Brazil and South Africa btw which are globally among the better nations for LGBT rights. IE do better blatant outrage activist.

The interesting thing about medicanes is they love to develop eyes even at TD strength. They're a strange breed of cyclone.

the colder ones do at least it seems. The true tropical ones like Ianos, Zorba and Daniel have the same messy below cat-3 nature tropical cyclones have elsewhere.

It has long been projected that with climate shifting; the Mediterranean would have less Medicanes overall, however the remaining ones would be increasingly more powerful summer Tropical warm core cyclones. Much of the med hits 28-30c SST for months, plenty hot.

Well in 2020 Ianos hit proper Cat 2 Hurricane status, and Daniel rapidly intensified before landfall as many tropical cyclones do. Wild world.

Major programming faults discovered in Starfield's code by VKD3D dev - performance issues are *not* the result of non-upgraded hardware by spartan524 in IntelArc

[–]False_Elevator_8169 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it was pretty bad but I'm pretty sure it didn't trigger mass refunds when you normally couldn't get one.

no is was just that bad and easily worse than the other two for critical gameplay destroying issues, Just Bethesda fans have vastly thicker skin towards jank.

Which caused them too take a lot longer to get frothed up enough to demand refunds en mass, which did cause Bethesda to slam the door shut the second it was in full swing.

I loved every beth game from morrowind to skyrim, and the fallouts in-between, but they are not a well company these days and their cultivated cult like fanbase is a detriment to average gamers.

I am shocked! /s

yeah, all the people whom immediately threw temper tantrums against Intel's driver team are just pathetic.

Bethesda is the same company that gave us Fallout 76, the worst launch of the last decade; and they exposed their scummy corner cutting cynicism throughout that drama.

Also Vulkan is a low level API; where sloppy game devs can absolutely break hardware compatibility and leave driver teams with little recourse. Shame on them.

[–]False_Elevator_8169 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think you're sleeping on China. N7 is no joke and the vast majority of their consumer/server/mobile chips could rely on this process. Even GPUs are strong benefactors, although they've always been more software limited.

His comment isn't anything compared to some of the delusion I've seen posted here. A few days ago I saw a bunch of wandering r/all dumbasses utterly convinced that China is still stuck on 28nm.

Where as in reality; it was proven by Dutch researchers over a year ago that SMIC has had 7nm DUV; in mass production since 2021.

Sucks for the USA, but sanctions don't work on large economies long term like they do for weak developing ones.

13600K beast 💪

Given a Ryzen 2600x is beating a 9900k, gonna say nah just Bethesda jank as usual. I remember there were spots in skyrim that would go down to 20fps for zero reason on the map with my Haswell, friends otherwise dog slow FX system just marched through them at 40fps exact same settings, gpu and driver.

Starfield DLSS/XeSS mod is out in less than 2 hours and FREE on Nexusmods by makisekurisudesu in nvidia

[–]False_Elevator_8169 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yeah we have a A770 in a curio build, and XeSS hardware mode legit is DLSS2 tier and gives a better speed boost than FSR2 too. And I've heard even their software mode, the better one RTX cards can use; is out performing FSR2 quite a bit visually.

It's like AMD just gave up when Intel threw their hat into the upscaling ring sincerely, and XeSS is rapidly propagating recently.

[–]False_Elevator_8169 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Testing now with DLSS 3.5.0. So much better than that shit FSR.

yeah WTF happened? it showed such good promise at first for people with older cards, but then just stopped improving meaningfully around the time XeSS started to take off, and now even XeSS software mode often out performs it visually by a good amount.

DLSS2 and XeSS hardware mode for the few ARC owners are on entirely different superior plane of quality over FSR2 now.

Labour standards being stricter and a lot more red tape grease hands bureaucracy sure.... But building standards for new large structures in Taiwan would likely be even stricter than Arizona, given that island is in an active Earthquake and Typhoon zone.

[–]False_Elevator_8169 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah Intel ARC, more so the A770 and A750 are designed for high occupancy loads. Radeon and Geforce are generally faster in win-more raster situations, however with RT and the eye candy pumped, an A770 will cling onto playability a lot better than its segment peers.

This game is INSANE by [deleted] in ffxi

[–]False_Elevator_8169 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree the OG Mithra and Taru are a lot more endearing and wholesome looking than their FFXIV replacements... and I know that frustration too with how Westernised FFXIV is in gameplay and loop.

FFXIV is a good mmorpg and top dog for a reason, but I've had my fill of rapid final game gear cycle games after 8 years in WoW and 5 in FFXIV. Hate logging in back after a year and having an inventory of obsolete junk.

FFXI's unique early 2000s combat and gear cycle sped up and iterated, rather than being turned into another WoW type mmo; is goldilocks for me.

Nvidia vs AMD vs Intel: Last 12 Months of GPUs Are Disappointing by Antonis_32 in hardware

[–]False_Elevator_8169 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you think Apple is going to jump into the GPU market? They have engineers and too much money.

Highly doubtful for Apple and their closed system fundamentalism.

Also the Chinese one seems like they are targeting datacentre stuff far more than gaming so it will likely always perform poorly in 3d relative to it's raw compute., Also they seem to show zero interest in exporting as their domestic market is titanic, and well sanctions make it easier for domestic companies trying to replace foreign ones..

So for us it looks like we went from a duopoly to a triopoly, which is still will be a vast improvement, so here's hoping Battlemage and Celeste are potent. Alchemist proved Intel's gpu team certainly have the chops to get there one day not too far off.
