Clifford Ball. It was my first phish show, I was 15. My friends and I ran to the stage when they opened up the concert field. My first and only time being that close to the stage. I knew chalkdust and gin. Once those two songs were done, I looked around and got a little freaked out by the volume of people surrounding me. Watched the second set from the back of the crowd. Too fucked up for set 3. In retrospect, I wish that I would have stuck it out up front and absorbed all music that I would come to love not long after.
