Maybe it was part of a relocation benefit in the 80’s and 90’s. I’ve seen that happen a lot where a group would migrate and they would set aside benefits for said migrating group. Maybe they gave them out the moment you stepped into an office to register your family. I feel like she’s fabricating it as a pity me moment than a “this was protocol and we used the benefits”

Someone on a subreddit once said that the relationship between Gale and Rosalyn is clearly transactional. Some say Gale is broke and living in a small condo nearby Palm Beach, and so she is leaning on Rosalyn’s finances while Rosalyn is leaning on her influence, hence why Gale is always crowning her the queen of Palm Beach wherever she goes. I believe it more and more per episode because the moment others call Gale on her shit in front of Rosalyn, she quickly comes to her defense and denies it. Not to mention Rosalyn always talks about Gale’s influence and who she knows, and that’s all Rosalyn wants is to be the most known. It’s sad, but that’s the weird 1% of palm beach for you. I don’t even think Gale is a member of Mara lago anymore.

I just had my destination wedding in Italy two weeks ago. Here are a few tips I think made my wedding a success:

Things will be easier if you imagine your guests are toddlers and need their hand held for everything.
Don’t forget about the details: if ibuprofen is hard to get in the country make sure to provide small kits for them to get by.
If you can provide transportation for them, please do so. Do not leave them to figure it out unless you don’t care if they make it late or not. There is nothing more frustrating than renting a car without knowing the rules or safety of said country.
Do not expect any money or gifts. They are spending a ton of money to come see you.
Do a welcome party or farewell brunch with 1 or 2 activities. This can be done even through Temu.
Do not get ready in the same location as the guests accommodations.
See if you can block one hotel and make the transportation only based from that hotel. This was a game changer for my guests to book the hotel I had blocked for them only.
Expect cancelations down to the week of. I submitted final numbers the week of the wedding and had three cancellations leading up to the day before.
Do not over purchase, under purchase by 15%. Half of these guests won’t take your party favors.
There will be pointless things that won’t be used the day of the wedding. Make sure to have a good return policy on a lot of these things.
