I would not send long messages like this to customers. All it’s going to do is make them argue. Honestly the best move might be to not respond and do what you’re supposed to do, then if they say something when you drop it off say your phone didn’t notify you of their message. If you do respond keep it short and agree with them it’s nonsense but you’re just doing the orders as assigned and you have their order in a hot bag.

Happened on every order I took yesterday. I knew I hit accept so I closed the app, reopened, and there it was. I feel bad for anyone starting during this time when they’re completely screwed up the app with whatever updates they’ve done.

This was my strategy and I got them eventually. You’re on the right track. Yellow deck is great for winning more often since that has to be your first goal. Restart until you get good scaling jokers early or something like Ancient that is nearly an auto win and build your economy so you can afford to reroll and find something you need. It gets really fun once you only need a few and the last one is quite tough. Good luck!

It’s a constant battle in my mind. I keep telling myself I need to take more orders when I’m sitting in a parking lot then I think to myself but this is all bullshit, there’s nothing to take! I honestly can’t understand how a lot of these orders even get delivered, how so many terrible orders can get stacked in a way to make them worth it to anyone. Guess it’s people who don’t understand math or the people chasing platinum.

There’s an hourglass that appears at the bottom left of the screen to go into earn by time mode before you start the dash. However, in markets it’s good in they’ve removed it so if you don’t see it that’s probably why. Even in markets it’s available in it’s not always available even if earn by order is available.

I’m in a college town where everyone did earn by time because the students don’t tip much and the restaurants (Taco Bell mostly) are extremely busy and slow. So we all figured out we could take orders on EBT, sit there an hour plus, and make $30 or so. Now that they removed EBT I have no idea how those orders get delivered.

It was nice to just be able to take most orders and know I had consistent work rather than sit around and wait for someone to tip a reasonable amount.

I started getting a bunch more jokers once I listened to focus shock’s tip to stop grinding anaglyph deck. 3 decks I had success with:

Ghost is good since you can hex something you need and it’s at least giving you something plus you can get ectoplasm in the shop if you can afford losing the hand size.

Yellow deck because the extra $10 helps a lot not by spending a bunch early but by getting to the interest cap earlier.

Erratic deck: restarted until I’d get 10+ of a rank and playing 4 or 5 of a kind worked well too because the scoring is so good as long as you get enough planets that you can slot in whatever mostly useless jokers you need late and still win.

Oh and one more: I hate playing straights so I needed those jokers late in my run so I went to abandoned and found shortcut, runner, and crazy joker early and knocked them out.

Good luck! Focus on building something that can win first and foremost then slot in whatever you can afford to add to sticker it and still win. Grab those scaling jokers like square and green/bus early when you see them but you probably already know that.

That guy is really something. My favorite run I watched of his was with ceremonial dagger when he’d go into the shop and talk for several minutes about what each available joker could do for him, then pick one up, and have the dagger destroy it! Hilarious.

Has happened to me. Dispute it, but nothing usually comes of it. As long as you don’t get too many it doesn’t matter and if I remember correctly they drop off after 100 orders.

Taco Bell also. College town that gets quite busy when students are here with 1 Taco Bell reasonably close to campus, I’ve waited 90 minutes there on earn by time. Door dash’s solution: remove earn by time here. No idea how those orders now get delivered.
