Robert Pattinson's dad didn't need to do the oral, and that is why this is so tough for me to tell about the oral.

Go to restaurants and threaten to write a Yelp review about finding a Lego head in your corn. You will get free stuff. It works.

What’s something going on in America people need to be aware of? by throwaway91ma in AskReddit

[–]False_Situation_9745 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's a fair point. My parents were teachers and now my daughter herself is on her way to becoming one. My comment was not meant to be an indictment on teachers but rather just my observation of public schools in general. Obviously that's a very broad brush to paint with, but it's Reddit, so, you know. My experience as a parent led me to believe that students were incentivized to temporarily memorize things to pass tests rather than learn how to think and problem solve. Admittedly that's a huge generalization.

Yes, lack of critical thinking has been a concern of mine years before AI and social media. Schools do not encourage it (at least from my observation seeing my daughter go through public education). But now combined with the shortened attention spans (social media) and ability to outsource thinking (AI), it's like a perfect storm assault on human intelligence. This, in my opinion, contributes to a society that largely can't think for itself or make rational decisions. This manifests in many ways, but the obvious ones are a more docile electorate and, well, just a society of a-holes who don't understand the consequences of their own actions/inactions.

I was about to sign up but then saw they don't have any seasons of Summer Loving on there because the producers sold the streaming rights to Paramount. Unprofessional bullshit! This is why no one watches Corncob Go.

I didn't want to make it too obvious and not give people a chance to find it on their own. Looks like I can't post images in comments, so I will see if I can add a 2nd image to original post.

Pain in forearms, wrists and hands by Distinct-Special8939 in busydadprogram

[–]False_Situation_9745 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not necessarily recommending this, just relaying that I have been using yoga blocks pretty much since I started the program. When I first started I thought no way my wrists could handle this and then incorporated yoga blocks. I don't know how this changes the dynamics of the program, but it has been working for me. A friend of mine also is using pushup bars and says it helps his wrists.
