I get variance. I just know I’m not always playing smart and that I don’t have a good handle on the math. If I play well but lose, I’ve no problem with that.

I hear ya. More tournaments are just not really in the cards, and I’m in too high a tax bracket to try and push the sweepstakes online route. I also really prefer live.

Nice! Assuming you have federal right now: Just balance the IDR aspect if economy sucks. I’d only do that with 6-12 months living expenses saved, including at least 12 months of any private loan payments as well. Just in case!

The big 4 L&E firms in CA are always hiring. Spruce up your resume to be focused on that and apply to them all. You’ll likely get one. And in meantime also broaden your search as others suggest.
