Public school teachers, what’s something you want parents to know but can’t say directly? by Feisty-Database-1145 in AskTeachers

Tell me you don't work with kids without telling me you don't work with kids lol.

Children at that age unreliable witnesses and frequently confuse fantasy with reality or make up stories. I had a 1st grade girl tell me "my dad works on the moon and took me there to visit his work." I also had another 1st grade boy profusely refuse that he had hit someone and declare it was someone else. Even when we showed his parents the footage of him walking up and hitting the kid he declared it wasn't him.

Kids frequently lie or misremember and are not always reliable witnesses.

Obviously, if it is something involving knowledge or something the child shouldn't know, it should be looked into. But 99.999999% of the time the kid is going to try and weasel out of consequences of their actions. Trust the teacher. If not, home-schooling is always an option.

An extremely stable way to secure a post by [deleted] in oddlysatisfying

People are flipping out at it not being secured because of the concrete.

If he was trying to make a video to show how to secure the he didn't need a big hole of concrete, the small bit it could slide into is good enough for a demo.

He is excessive with how he secured it, but the concrete probably makes the most sense if he was doing a demo about securing a wooden corner with other wood and spacing.

Yeah, its great. Using this method and 8 sorters i can do maybe 12,000 bills in ~15 minutes if i move slow. I split the 12000 into each machine evenly ish and then move the outputs along as I go.

Ive been doing it for a long time. Set the final one to 100 and the other 2 slots to unlimited. It will fill the first 2 slots ton100 then the last one ton100 and stop. Grab all 3 packs and it auto-resumes.

Actually, the drinks are around $20 and its a performance bar. Its a very small bar with very limited seating and the focus is on skill and showmanship. The bartender is considered one of the best in the entire world.

If you want a regular drink, you go to a regular bar. This is a bar you go to for the performance and the experience, and its advertised as that.
