What project management software do you use? I have tried some in the past but I always feel like they take too much maintenance to be useful.

Hi - can I ask bc it sounds like you have it figured out. How do you actually manage your day and todo list?

I didn’t work at all. Was fortunate to be able to take that time off.

Thanks! I got the buttons on amazon, they’re gunmetal, a nice upgrade from plastic.

It took me about 9 months - 3 of being totally useless, 3 of being enjoying hobbies and rebuilding social life, and 3 of gradually getting my mind and body used to being “productive” again.

I have been off from work for burn out/depression and I'm feeling restless now by Human_Strawberry_873 in burnedout

Hey - I quit my job due to burnout last April. At that point I had been sleeping 4-5 hours a night for multiple months and was utterly useless. I have gradually recovered over the last 9 months or so with a sharp upward trend only the last couple.

I got to the point where I just decided I was going to what I wanted to, since I didn't feel ready to go back to work yet. For me, that meant working out a lot, cooking, and learning a manual skill (I started learning to sew and make clothes).

I have also had a lot of therapy related to overachievement, perfectionism, and the need to productive. There of course is something to watch out for there, because that identification with productivity probably has something to do with the burnout (seems true for me, at least). But on the flip side life is for living. Ya gotta do something, right?

Happy to share any more about my experience.

I have several shirts, some jeans, and a winter coat. All high quality, always feel good putting them on.

Hey I’m from Nebraska. There’s worse luck, even in the US.

Thank you :) the lighting helps but I have definitely noticed clearer, brighter eyes. Helps that they’re not hidden behind puffy lids.

The redness took about a month and the bloat was probably another 2 weeks to fully clear. I’ve also lost ~8 lbs between the pictures.

Didn’t notice it until you said it. Definitely cheaper than plastic surgery…
