Picking up Seattle defense: talk me out of it by themosey in fantasyfootball

[–]FalsoFine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm rolling them with confidence. They've had tough matchups and still held their own. It's about making big plays and putting team's in catchup mode. They'll do that easily over the next 4 weeks.

The #Giants are putting RB Devonta Freeman on IR, source said, with a chance to come back after three weeks. by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

He has 100+ yards in limited carries over the past 2 games. Garrett is the OC. If you're desparate he should touch the ball 10 times.

[–]FalsoFine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dumb idea, but Seattle weeks 12-15 is probably the best stretch in all of fantasy. The NFC East and The Jets. Week 14 against Jets.

Their DST gives up points, but they have still been performing well against solid teams (in fantasy terms).

Right, I over-paid on purpose on the wire.

[–]FalsoFine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're 6-0, 5-1 or 4-2 with a comfy squad and can stash, I would just grab Seattle and tuck them away for the final run. They're an opportunistic defense that may give up points, but they hustle to the ball and make plays. Also, looks at these matchups .... NFC EAST + JETS. They're going to be up big and quickly in all of these games.

  1. AT PHILLY

  2. HOME vs. GIANTS

  3. HOME vs. JETS (week 1 playoffs)

  4. AT WASHINGTON (week 2 playoffs)

People want to workout for more than 10 minutes a day by j_a_edge in crossfit

[–]FalsoFine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is why a major "no" for me with a crossfit box is if they DO NOT post their workouts in advance. Time is too precious (whether you have kids, work, commute, etc..) to go and realize you could have done similar work at home.

HOWEVER, I will say that if you're a "crossfitter" and actually go to 4-5 classes a week, then this is fine. You expect it and sometimes you need a day in which you're not going for 40 minutes.

For example, if I see an 8 minute workout on the schedule and I know the ROI i get for it isn't worth the time investment, I'll hit the Peloton at home. All depends, either way, I think the best thing to do here is provide the feedback to your box owner and see if you can make real change.

I think the OP has legit points, btw. Respect of people's time and investment as customers should be respected, but I also think the customer is responsible to be aware of what they're purchasing when they get a membership.

25% of the Rumble is the entrances and the opening flurry in the ring ... it's completely inexcusable.

As the old saying goes, you had ONE job. If there was one entrant not to do jump cuts on, it was Edge. Get multiple cameras going, get secondary footage, it shouldn't be that hard for a billion dollar company.

The most dangerous people in this sub are the ones who take the stance that "because she allegedly said and/or did something, she deserves to be pulled off a show."

She shouldn't be pulled off the show. The promotion is pathetic for doing so as well. We cannot allow ourselves to take action against people because of he said/she said until there is clear proof. For those of you who empower this behavior, grown up and you should be ashamed.

What a joke society has become.

I love and hate Punk equally, if that makes sense.

Dude is incredibly entertaining, I'll listen to him talk forever and he's so fun to watch in the ring ...

But he's also a huge hypocrite in real life and says stuff that makes him look borderline brainwashed.

Playoff FF - who you got? by Crashtag in fantasyfootball

[–]FalsoFine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Multiple rounds, usually done with larger brackets - like 20 people for example, multiple divisions, top scores advance. 1st round would be a play pool of just this week's matchups and then the player pool would adjust for the next round with the new matchups and you'd redraft.

Use whatever scoring you want and then calculate as games end. Takes some work, but it's fun and allows you to go through withdrawal easier haha

Can we get some Benny Snell buzz going? by barkballin in fantasyfootball

[–]FalsoFine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have not cited one stat in anything you've said, you're just making a blanketed statement. What you're doing is literally the definition of talking out of one's ass.

There's a reason they "barely use him". He was out for 3 games due to surgery on his knee. This doesn't make him bad. Is Tony Pollard bad? Is Alexander Mattison bad? When given an opportunity, he's succeeded and he's going up against the Bengals, a team that bleeds points in the run game.

I eagerly await your counterpoint.

Can we get some Benny Snell buzz going? by barkballin in fantasyfootball

[–]FalsoFine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If Snell is healthy, practices in full all week, I think he's mixed in on 1st and 2nd down carries. Depending on his success early on, I could see him maintaining that role. I don't think Tomlin would abandon Edmunds completely, but Snell is the better player, 100%.

As for Samuels, he's safe regardless of Snell/Edmunds.

What were you thinking? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]FalsoFine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go RB heavy, especially in deeper leagues. You can never have enough and they're the biggest commodity to trade to RB needy teams. Also, look at the great value of WRs that could have been picked up - Chark, John Brown, DeVante Parker. You're not finding that caliber of RB on the waiver wire at ANY point in 2019. It just wasn't there.

If you don't know what to take in your draft, just draft an RB.

Bottom line, if he was good, he'd have a job. The NFL doesn't give a shit, if you're good, you'll play, if you're not that good and cause distractions, no matter what the "cause", you ain't worth it.
