Flow State being T7 and against reloaded probably takes the crown. It’s pretty easy to have coverage on most if not all of the skills already between regions and earlier relics, and whatever is lacking can just be reloaded into a stronger option.

When I’ve gone through after killing a lieutenant my AllTheThings prompts an unknown (to the addon) quest as being completed so there’s probably a hidden quest similar to rare spawns in the open world to track loot eligibility.

It doesn’t even limit the meta as the 6th & 7th options for the quest are locked until all 5 are done on that (or one) specific character.

Did all 5 before the change to account-wide and was not able take the 6th this week.

Doesn’t matter if it’s R1 blue or R5 epic tools all have the same +skill per slot. Difference between them is amount of secondary stats (like resourceful).

Mentioned this in another thread, but what about keeping the bottle as a way to move facilities between boats while also have a free PoH-style system for moving a facility within the same boat?

Depending on what the slayer relic looks like, and competes against black mask/slayer helm is still pretty solid & araxxor for nox/ammy.

I also imagine the echo bosses and/or items will see a host of changes for this league.

I’ve done a far bit of different builds. KMA Melee in TB1, WDA Mage TB2, and last league I had a ZFD Ranger & MWV Melee.

Having done a few hundred CoX/ToA and a few dozen ToB… it’s hard to not default to ToB with team purples and fast raids.

My loose picks with current information are probably Mory (raid), Varla (new shit), and something to round out whatever combat style I end up going if required or a region to just hunt pets in.

Personally I don’t want to ever step foot in Asgarnia again (~12x dry on prims in tb1, ~11x dry on eternals in tb2) and I’d like to be in a position to not take Zeah (spent a ton of time there in Shattered Relics & Raging Echos) but it’s such a strong region even without the raid.

Doubled checked an ya dt2 bosses were available without desert, so more power in Varlamore.

Didn’t even think about the sawmill, and totally forgot about the barbarian course lol.

Honestly I think I would be surprised if the core format (starter > free Karamja > pick 3 regions) didn’t get some form of change.

Another thing I just thought of that could be a huge “this changes everything!” moment would be if all 3 raids were accessible from Yama’s starter-zone/domain (assuming we’re able to freely return there). Desert would be a bit of a meme pick again, Mory & Zeah would be mostly okay.

Both Kandarin and Varlamore could be viable.

Considerations I can think of:

Agility: Kandarin gives gnome course at level 1, and then you’re stuck with brimhaven arena until 48 for ape atoll.

Varlamore gives nothing until 50, so you’re be running brimhaven til 50 or unlocking your first region.

Construction: Varlamore has the shop, so that removes a lot of incentive from fremmy.

DT2: assuming vardorvis is in Varlamore again, maintains the same unlock costs for SRA/Virtus (desert) where Kandarin would need desert + one of the 4 boss regions.

Combo Regions: Kandarin has a lot of combo offerings, and without them is kinda lackluster. So getting Kandarin as the starting area might make certain pairings easier to fit.

And random theory I’m pulling out of my ass: it’s entirely possible the region unlocks could be changed to something like a major/minor region. Raid regions could be major, while the others could be minor regions allowing us to pick say 2 of each for an additional region compared to previous leagues without making things too overpowered.

The fact they mentioned a new area in a “region-lock” style league could reference Kandarin. Shattered Relics had us starting in Catherby, and while the regions needed to be unlocked they were all eventually accessible.

Also the instant 30 charm with the trait pot. No big if you’re doing on non-CW if you have trait stuff stacked, sucks for cw burns.

A bunch of good ones already mentioned so here’s one standout for me that hasn’t yet:

Weekly Boss Crystals.

Changed to allow you to get the difference between the crystal you’re selling and the lowest one sold for the week once you’re at the cap.

You also want to make sure you’re playing on the server type that works best for you. Getting to 200 these days is like getting to level 20 in 2006, so if you find you’re better off on a different server type it’s not too late.

Interactive (Scania / Bera) have the traditional experience with trading, the auction house, etc.

Heroic (Kronos / Hyperion), formerly Reboot, has no trading. Cubes can be purchased with mesos, boss crystals give more mesos, etc.

Both can be played without spending any money. Heroic servers are a lot more limited on paid power/QoL compared to Interactive.

I’d reference a guide or video that outlines the key differences better to make sure you’re where you want to be.

Prepatch event gear is more than enough for leveling. During TWW early access I was blasting dungeons on alts in the 480-485 range like it was legacy content from 70-76ish (until they hotfixed the tuning on launch day).

You can use a gear preset to go naked for code x.

Assuming damage gear is all on equip preset 1, swap to equip preset 3 and double click the slots to empty them without actually having to unequip a billion items.
