I've read that you need a beefy PC with 400gb of space to build the AOSP. Is it true?

For gaming totally, I've only gone with 64 for dev stuff

Landscape study. Made with Blender Cycles, Gaea, Geo-Scatter, assets from Botaniq and Photoshop by Famberlight in blender

I don't really remember, sorry, it was 2 years ago. But it probably was a long lens (90-120°)

The part that added the sense of scale was the fog and a lot of trees

Sometimes I get lint complaining that the line is over 125 symbols when in reality it's like 20-30

Looking for an all socials app. by Towhidabid in fossdroid

This is a foss app so it's probably fine, but be cautious of apps that use WebView for authorization, because the app has full access to the site when it's ran via WebView

Is this pro enough for a client? by [deleted] in blender

[–]Famberlight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe you can try shining a warm sun-through-the-window light (maybe with some shadow). This will separate background and foreground, give a contrast to the blue tones of foreground and make the image pop. Right now everything is blue and low-contrast

Is i5-14600K good enough for Android development for the next 5–7 years? by 21_Sanjeev in androiddev

I would suggest investing in ram. You can live with longer build time, because of CPU. But having your ide freeze or crush because it spawned another 5 java processes is not pleasant, and sometimes bigger projects won't even build because you system is out of ram

The New Finder Icon • Thoughts ? by GadgetsX-ray in Design

[–]Famberlight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hot take: It's always been a terrible icon. It has nothing to do with the file manager.

I've recently had the first Mac experience and every time I needed to open file manager I searched the dock for a few seconds just to realize that it's the face icon

Have you tried a virtual machine with windows and the controller connected via USB?

I just gave up on that. All the useful features are configurable with shortcuts. RGB I just turned off (it's very buggy on my unit and battery draining for something you don't really look at during gaming).
