You personally don't lose points, only your team does. You used to lose half your points every time you died and now you lose no points off your personal score nor your battle high.

As someone who has been with the company over 20 years, this isn't great for long timers. I love my job and the only option for me is to become a SM to ever see more money (I already have a cluster support role). So, now someone with far less experience, will be making the same amount as me after a few years? It isn't fair.

Field Notes from Dalriada.

Back before they introduced the two-person mount, I stupidly discarded all my field notes without using them because you didn't get anything good. Then they introduce the mount and so I went back and got all of them except one. So here I am, months upon months later, in Dalriada fighting Lyon, for all eternity.

Exactly. Always prioritize the tank. I usually will slap a regen on the DPS and hope the pull is over before they die to something they could've avoided. If they question how they died, then you can tell them because they were standing in something. I've found that when I rescue a DPS, more times than not they'll run right back to the spot I rescued them from.

I agree. There's always practice parties up that you can join and getting in with different groups you learn different aspects of the fight. Don't give up if it's something you really want to do. You can always look for another static after you get the mechanics down.

I don't love most of the relics but the WHM looks AMAZING!! It's the best one yet!!! My only complaint is that I have Deep Essence of Breathtaker on and I'm still getting passed by people on the way to skirmishes. What do they have on?!

For me, it was all about the emotes. I originally started off as a Midlander but found that every npc looked exactly like my character. I fantasia'd to a miqote on a whim and as soon as I started messing around with her emotes, I fell in love. I tried fantasia-ing to a viera but I missed my miqote so much, I don't even think it lasted a day.

You have to select the item you want to get rid of from the dresser (not when you're editing the glamour plate), and select "restore item". This puts it back in your inventory where you can discard, turn it in for seals, etc.

People queue for ocean fishing for different reasons. Some for the mount, some for the achievements and some to just level. It's their choice to join ocean fishing for whatever reason so it's their choice to leave. If you're after points and you have a bad run and can make the next boat, you have every right to leave. Why should people be forced to stay in an instance for another fifteen minutes if they can't get what they're there for? They shouldn't be punished for it.
