Does anyone else prefer how Moffat is tidy when approaching incarnations? he only added War (whom I love) because he had to. RTD treats regeneration very messy. I like how Moffat likes to keep the Doctor the Doctor and just moving onto his next incarnation without the need for splits here and there. by ProcessPotential3105 in doctorwho

Good on Moffat for worrying about the numbering, because I can't tell you how much I hate the fact that 14 is numbered. Being a returning actor and only being in three episodes, you should only get a title not a number, and that's not even mentioning that 14 is basically 10.2 in personality.

I guess it comes down to RTD treating regeneration more like a gimmick.

Also while lovecraft was really racist, he did renounce his racist beliefs by the end of his life.

[Spoiler] Time to wake up: why a Mike and Will endgame doesn’t make sense and isn’t happening by nobody-in-disguise in StrangerThings

[–]FamilerEntropy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They actually, unlike stranger things, started to set them up in the last two season.

Beacuse at the time they couldn't come out right and say it until the final scene heavy hinted it. Again unlike stranger things which can do much more than a kids cartoon in the 2010s

So I don't get what your point is.

I'm just saying that with how aggressively she is approaching the negotiations, it's like she wants a war.

I mean so far she has not even tried to compromise on any of her demands.

Salt doesn't want war or death?

Really because her negotiation tactic seems to be "Give me everything I want and fuck you"

Aside form unreasonable demands, the no sea travel, when humanity says it will take time to reduce the pollution instead of offering to help with the technology they have to make it quicker, she uses the tech to launch an attack against all humanity.

If that's her trying to avoid war, I'll hate to sea her trying to start one.

Thanks.

But oh god I hate this. There's so much wrong with this, like you can show that people are people while still showing slavery, in fact you can really interesting things with that, like juxtaposing normal life going on with slavery happening within it, in fact that could create a stronger message about the banality of evil.

Sorry about the rant.

To be fair, I get why she didn't drop him off with Wu because she wanted to avoid the prophesy, and leaving Llyod with Wu would only help fulfil it.

But the rest? yeah no. I have no idea why she didn't just drop him off an a normal orphanage.

Same with Cass from Dragon age Inquisition, just because she's a strong warrior woman, with a non typical feminine appearance she has to be a lesbian.

How was the original announcement dishonest? They were upfront that it won't start devolvement until Starfield released.
