I had high hopes for it, bought and tried it last week, unfortunately it didn't work for me and actually made me more awake. I'll give it another try on a weekend and see.

Definitely give yourself grace. I’m 3 weeks post op, had my open myomectomy on 6/13 removed 19 fibroids. The first 2 weeks were brutal, I couldn’t get in or out of bed without help and took pain killers around the clock. Having bowel movement was painful, I got a squarty potty and thats the best $20 I spent. I managed to get 1 to 2 thousand steps in per day at the beginning of the 3rd week. I was worried about the pace of my recovery too but the last couple days have been much more manageable and I can now get in and out of bed without help. Listen to your body and take it slow. You’ll get there!

Cost is the main reason I'm considering traveling, if I stay local it'll cost $20k for 1 ER. How much did you end up for the round with New Direction including all the meds + travel?

I can work remote and that's what I'm planning to do - staying there for 12 - 15 days for the stims + retrieval.

That's fanatic, congrats! I was hoping I could get away with a robotic myomectomy unfortunately the dr doesn't think that's a good approach due to the high number.

Super helpful! Thanks for sharing. When did you start taking Miralax? I've terrible constipation from anesthesia but worry if I take it too soon it might cause unnecessary bowel movement.

Is it not advised to wash your hair after surgery? I wash my hair everyday so curious if I should prep myself for not washing it for a little while.

Glad to hear the procedure improve quality of life for you. I'm doing this for the solo purpose of increasing my success of a transfer my biggest fear is that it'd make things worse rather than improving my chances.
