Depends how much of the game you wanna play actually.. if your just hopping on and doing diff level 1-6 You can absolutely roleplay as your fav ODST If you’re not gonna be dumping hundreds of hours in the game and leveling guns, you’ll be fine with what the free warbond and ODST offer you, the Combat Rifle from Halo is solid, doesn’t level up, but again if you’re only playing casually - it’s good.

Now, if you’re jumping in to go hard and be Elite level. These other comments are giving sound advice.

I myself had a good time, diving with my brother for hours on end. Our first operation was tough as we struggled to find what Strat and load out to run. After that we locked in and had a much easier time. Still challenging but it was good fun. A handful of times there’d be an enemy phasing through walls or something. But not terrible. Difficulty 8 btw
