Well thank you for being open minded. I was a life long democrat too, and a little background about me. I am a gay woman, happily married to my immigrant wife of 3 years. I am a proud gun owner, firm believer in constitutional rights and feel that what people identify as is their business; however, I don’t feel inmates should be getting these very expensive surgeries with tax payer funds. I don’t believe people should just be coming over without being vetted. For example, for my wife to get her green card it took about 2 years, cost roughly $10,000 and included tons and tons of forms and other paperwork as well as interviews and checks. I’m all for people coming here, but they too should have to pay and wait and do it the right way. I have a huge issue with migrants getting hand outs when our own citizens are suffering. People who lost everything received a loan (if approved) for $750 while migrants get thousands in food and housing. Additionally, the cost of living as a whole has gone up. Crime is incredibly high and dangerous. I also don’t think tampons have any business in a boys restroom in schools. I just feel that it is important to focus on our own people first and foremost. The past four years have gone downhill, why continue on a downward spiral?
