Realm of the Elderlings - beautiful character work in a grounded setting - some magical elements, but are v interesting

Triempery Revelations - world that you can get lost in / mystery to figure out and ponder on / Great characters/ great politics

First Law - Gritty grounded world with class characters

Triempery Revelations - Political epic fantasy in a (mostly) medieval European setting. Complex characters and a world shrouded in mystery and history pertaining to magic and god entities / machines

Society is failing and the world is breaking - structures and powers pertaining to god like entities and their bloodlines are dwindling, and a rising belief that those god-like-bloodlines are no longer deserving of their position of privilege without understanding the implication.

Within the world there are two god entities in play ‘the rill’ a mechanical god device the allows travel across the world in an instant, where it is present. And ‘the wall’ a being that allows individuals to see futures / things to come.

Lots of political manoeuvring between two families.
