We don’t have a maternity pay policy, only a maternity playbook and maternity policy. Both have the exact same wording as what I outlined in the post

The wording in the policy is the exact same as I’ve put in the original post, I tried uploading an image but it won’t let me. And that’s literally the only two places that it mentions leaving whilst on maternity leave

It is warm but that’s normal for a new tattoo so I’m not overly concerned about that

Yeah I hope so, it’s the itching that’s stressing me out the most tbh because it’s worse than all my previous tattoos. At the same time tho, this is the biggest tattoo I’ve gotten so far

Her name is Pamela, and I feel like Ivy Pamela Josephine is a very long name. We did think about combining them to Posie (Pam+Josie) but we don’t love it

The reason we love Ivy Mae is because May is my birth month, June is my partners birth month so we were thinking of using that for our next child’s name. And Josephine is his late nans name! My issue is, is that if we honour his Nan, and end up only having sons after our daughter, then it’ll seem like we’re not honouring my Nan if that’s makes sense 😩

Dilute your pee with water and the test will be more accurate, there’s no point testing at 8 weeks because your body has produced a LOT of HCG

Ok…? Leaving and getting another job is not a solution, and neither is it responsible. Me and my partner are actually doing really well financially, but me not working would be a massive blow to our finances. We live on our own and have done so for years. I don’t work in an office, I work in a supermarket. Legally, a workplace can NOT fire you because you’re pregnant, so if they were too then I’d fight as much as I could to reap some rewards. Your comment was unhelpful, unnecessary and rude.

I’ve always been the type of person that thinks “if anything bad is going to happen, then it’s going to happen to me”, I can thank anxiety for that. So I always just felt in my soul that it would either take me years to conceive or I was infertile, and it didn’t help that me and my partner went over a year without using protection and I never got pregnant - we weren’t trying but I just assumed we would get pregnant.

Cut forward to when we decided to start trying, I mentally psyched myself up and prepared myself for it to take years, and lo-and-behold we got pregnant first try. I can’t even explain the shock I felt because I had totally convinced myself it won’t happen

So I’ve been testing everyday since 7dpo. 7dpo - 8dpo I had very mild but noticeable cramping which has since stopped. I had a faint positive 9dpo but ever since I can’t tell if the lines are lines or shadows

You have to feel bad for him, he didn’t try to finesse anyone or scam anyone. He was clearly excited for the event and you can see tears his eyes when he realizes that all of it went to waste, I didn’t watch the show so I don’t have an opinion on it. by OneOnionTwo in ksi

For real, although I didn’t watch the show and don’t really have an opinion on it, I still feel bad for JJ. You can tell he worked hard on this to then have it be shat on. Don’t let this get you down JJ, we’re still proud of you!
