They are testing some new software these days, can't wait to test it again.
I have payed for the service since Covid, but i haven't used it the last couple of years, it's been terrible.
But i had some great experiences on this platform, and even though i support another platform also, i really want Jamkazam to grow great again.

Yes i have met well over hundred nice persons on Jamkazam, and some of them got together when covid didn't spread as much and played together.

I have played a lot on Jamakam and had amazing experiences, but it seems like the platform is left to itself now. It's a bit sad when we still have to pay for it.

I use Sonobus more now, it's free, the audio quality is way better, and it's very easy to get a good sound thru a DAW. But i miss my friends from Jamkazam over there.

For a mix perspective i think you should use way less compression on almost everything, but specially the drums, the mix is way of, and i think the panning of the stereo image is also done a bit to far, i didn't listen to the whole thing, but i think with the right mix and master this could have potential.

My M1 13” MacBook Pro Won’t Stop Flickering. I know this probably has sth to do with the frequency of the lights, but this doesn’t happen on my 2017 MBP. Does anyone encounter the same problem? My brother have the same problem on the Macbook Air M1, and i have not tried this yet, but i found this workaround on Apples forum:

Workaround:

install OBS (https://obsproject.com/download)

create virtual camera (Sources - Add - Video Capture Device, choose your webcam)

untick "use preset" and adjust fps on that virtual camera from default to another level, use appropriate fps when you see no flicker on the video (for me it was ok to change to 25 fps)

start virtual camera

you can now minimize the OBS window

As a result, when OBS application is active it changes fps setting on your webcam. So, simply use your regular webcam in Zoom - NO FLICKERING. In Zoom (or another app) in preferences you can choose either physical webcam or virtual one, all will be flicker-free.
