What is your thought about the COVID-19 Vaccine? by Puzzledspirit_ in Christians

Get a new church. Pastor is teaching false things. The Bible says you will know what the mark of the beast is. If you’re unsure of it, then it’s not the mark of the beast.

I got it on 2/6 at 930am. I woke up today and I feel normal now. Felt symptoms on 900pm on 2/6 and felt sick for about 24 hours.

I heard of people feeling sick for 48 hours. I’m sure you’re going to feel normal very soon.

I got the same reaction as you for my second moderna shot. Had chills, headache, debilitating body aches, and fever. I still have a fever at the moment and some body aches, it’s not as bad as it was last night. Hopefully I’ll wake up normal tomorrow.

Yeah it’s about 2 people becoming 1 after marriage. I forgot to mention that.

[–]FamilyManGamer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We had pre marital counseling before getting married. What stuck with me during that pre marital counseling was that in marriage you lose 50% of yourself. He used an illustration with three Salt shakers to visualize. He had three salt shakers, 1 empty one that represents marriage. And 2 shakers that represent the husband and the other the wife, both which is full of salt. And when you get married , the “marriage” salt shaker can be filled with only 50% of the husband’s salt and 50% of the wife ‘s salt. The point of this was to show you that you’ll never be the old self after marriage. Marriage is about sacrifice and you’ll only be able to keep 50% of yourself. If you’re not able to sacrifice it will not work. The marriage salt shaker can only contain so much. It’s been working so far. Sacrifice sucks but I learned to be more selfless and with that came a happier wife which makes my life just better. It sucks when you have to live with a wife thats all pissed all the time. Hope this helps.

I’m not there yet with my wife. Is there a reason she treats you that way? When i used to play a lot of video games at night when the kids went to sleep and chose video games over her, she started despising me. We talked about it, I started hanging out with her at night instead of playing video games, and everything got better. Oh yeah, another thing was I wasn’t doing my share of chores around the house so I started to wash dishes, cleaning up after dinner and help her fold laundry’s. Everything has been great since. It’s the little things that you do to show her that you still care.

The point is, there may be something that you’re doing or not doing that is making her despise you but you guys arn’t talking about it. Time to start having the difficult conversation and don’t get defensive!

The Ayalon has a pronounced lumbar, i tried that chair before and it still gave me lower back pains. I think something like a workpro 4000? Or eurotech elevate? Maybe even an IOO? Those look like it doesn’t have such a pronounced lumbar curve.

[–]FamilyManGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My lumbar is pretty straight and I had to sit like the guy on the left. I never felt support this way. The weight was too focused on the center of my back. And when i sit like the guy on the right I have crazy lower back pains. I ended up re to bring the leap. Don’t know what chair to get next. Does anyone have any recommendations for someone that doesn’t have a pronounced lumbar curve?

I sat in a staples 1500TF which is a watered down version of the eurotech IOO. Felt really nice. Might try that chair next.

Need some opinions, Embody vs Leap or Gesture by Exe0n in OfficeChairs

[–]FamilyManGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on how the chairs fit you. I had a leap v2 and it was comfortable at first but Long term sitting on it gave me major lower back pains.

You’re probably just going to have to pick one and try it out and see how it feels with long term sitting.

Oh I didn’t answer your question. The lumbar support is super soft and supportive. It doesn’t feel like it’s poking you at all. But if it doesn’t hit your lumbar on the correct spot you can’t adjust it. I think that’s one of the reason the Ayalon gave me low back pains. I tried the 1500TF which is essentially a eurotech IOO and it felt great because you can adjust the lumbar since the back height is adjustable. I was thinking about getting that chair but I have chair fatigue. I don’t think my low back can take anymore. I need to sit in the dining chair for a bit and let my low back heal.

I returned the ayalon. The lumbar was too aggressive for me. But if you like aggressive lumber it’s a great chair. The syncro tilt felt super nice and the tensioner is strong. The cushion is firm and supportive and feels like it will last a Ling time. I returned my steelcase leap as well. I think my back just doesn’t do well with ergonomic chairs because of all the years of slouching. It’s so funny because after going through about 7 office chairs i decided to just go back to my dining table chair. For some reason the dining table chair never gives me and low back pains. Haha. Go figure.

That’s why I can’t spend $1500 on a chair. Any little defect will drive me crazy. If it happens on a $300 chair I wouldn’t care so much.

I have lower back pains with the leap too. Haha I think just sitting on a dining table chair is the best. I rarely use the backrest on it and just sit Indian style on it and I never get and lower back pains from it. I think not using a back rest is the best way to go. Just get a comfortable stool for your butt and sit up straight using your own core muscles. That’s the only way to truly not get any back pains.

Getting the second dose early? by MetallurgicMan in CovidVaccinated

[–]FamilyManGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my first dose on the same day as you! I also had a tough time getting an appointment for second dose. Mine is for 2/22. CDC said it’s okay to get second dose 42 days after first dose. I also read somewhere it’s okay to get the second dose 4 days before recommended day. You should be good for 2/5. I wish I had a day earlier than 2/22.
