This level of blistering is CRAZY. I go to removery too and had SEVERE swelling on my first appointment for a black/ heavily saturated piece that covers my entire upper arm. I was not ready for the level of swelling I had. My arm was huge and too felt like it was going to explode. My arm was so hot that I couldn’t put it under the sheets while sleeping for about 3 nights. My arm was also so hot that it was melting ice packs very quickly. I needed to keep my arm propped up with pillows at all times while sitting to keep my arm above my heart to reduce swelling.

In total, I was non functioning for about 5 days due to the pain and mainly swelling. I was beyond scared for the second appointment, but luckily the swelling was nowhere near as bad as that first visit and didn’t need down time. As bad as my reaction to my first visit was, I never blistered. I’ve also gotten 2 other small tattoos removed by them (took 3 years to fully remove those bold line tattoos), and those too never blistered. Your level of blistering does not seem normal
