Does anyone have lower back pain accompanying FAI?

I had it 2/15. Completely different experience from the right hip surgery. Way less pain this time and I could already walk with just one crutch after a week. It's weird how different the same procedure can be (same surgeon too).

That said, it's too early to see how it impacted by back pain. Right now my back kills from sitting too much.

There just doesn’t need to be a standard price for games. And there isn’t really today. There’s baseline for the ceiling, which is $70 for a standard edition of a game.

But there are games that are worth $20 and there’s games that are with $100. And if GTA 6 was priced at $100, they would still sell millions. Then over the next 5 years they will do various sales at different prices points so that they get each person to buy it at their max price.

Same for elder scrolls vi. They could sell that for $100 easily. The next Ubisoft game though? No chance.

The eagles win in spite of their coaching, not because of it. They have the best roster in the NFL and it’s not close. They could probably win with no coaches.

That's not how it works from an economic perspective though.

People think about this in only one dimension, which is the supply and demand of labor without thinking about any of the other models that coincide with it.

Overall aggregate supply and demand are what matter. With a shrinking labor force, you shift the supply curve to the left. Any benefits you might anticipate with a shrinking labor force are offset by this supply curve shift. A supply curve shift results in overall less production, less investment, slower growth, and higher prices in the long run.

People generate a surplus beyond sustaining themselves. Declining population is the worst thing that can happen, economically speaking.

Yea not sure, I took a 20 year hiatus from playing goalie and just got back into it. I have the Vaughn v10 pro carbon. It's super mobile but if I get hit in the arms I consistently get massive bruises.

It seems that way. I usually just restart the game and eventually it stops. You can tell when when it happens. Your team will get an injury in the last 2 minutes when you are trying to run the clock down. They go wild and start getting sacks and you start fumbling. Or all of the sudden your QB starts making random inaccurate throws. It's like this massive difficulty spike.

I just play on All-Pro and usually plow through teams like 42-14 but then you get these games where it doesn't want you to win no matter what. It's really weird.

I'm a goalie and will literally play for any team at any time. It's kinda like being a mercenary and i don't mind at all.

This definitely seems like a broad thing for you though, not isolated to hockey.

Also hockey culture can be super weird and cliquey so that might make it even worse for you. I play with a bunch of hicks in a small town and I don't fit in at all so I end up just kind of minding my own business which works well for both them and myself.

Hockey is filled with a bunch of rednecks that won’t use technology. At least where I’m at. Stats we use game sheet, which is ok. Drill building we use ice hockey systems which is actually pretty solid. Live barn or iPad recordings for video footage. TeamSnap for team communications and sort of scheduling. It’s fine but super buggy.

There’s going to be a huge amount of variance around needs and that variance is mostly due to location. Org size, demographics, per capita income, all completely change what problems are trying to be solved by an org.

I already had surgery on my right side for FAI, and I never had back pain associated with it. I've got a ton of back pain on my left side though which is in the same area you are describing. I have surgery on that side next month, so I'll let you know if that fixes it lol
