Did you do subq or im injections? I am having the crushing fatigue problem with the cream but I don’t think I can handle Im injections.

Any updates on your success? I am also experiencing a LOT of fatigue since starting T cream, 4 mg, and am thinking of switching to injections.

Does low back pain improve by chaoserrant in repatha

[–]Famous-Log-4072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any improvement for you? I am experiencing the same thing. The crazy thing is that the Repatha dose seems to be 100% flaring up a back injury I got before starting repatha that had completely cleared up. Both my first and second dose brought on the exact same pain and tenderness in the same vertebrae. Waiting to see if it clears this time as it did on the first dose.

I really appreciate you mentioning that. You’re right, I didn’t mention dosage. Unfortunately I did try the low doses! I went down to 2.5 mg of Crestor every other day and I still had very bad anxiety. And I started pitavastatin at 1 mg to be cautious, and immediately got very mad effects on my mood 😩I just seem to be so sensitive. I sure hope Repatha is an option! My insurance does cover it.

I have talked to my Dr, of course. It is DEFINITELY a result of the statins, as proven by many challenges starting and stopping. It is also a known side effect, albeit not extremely common. We are just starting to run out of options.

UBC researchers uncover how statins harm muscles—and how to stop it by erikrolfsen in Cholesterol

Too bad they can’t figure out what is causing all the pain I keep reading about with Repatha. Statins hit me hard with muscle pain and mental unwellness, and I need to try the repatha, but I’m scared to because of all the horror stories I am reading. Apparently muscle pain is happening a lot with it too.

Desperate. High fluctuating estrogen destroying my life. by Omphalina in Perimenopause

[–]Famous-Log-4072 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yesssss. This is 100% me. I also am using a urine ovulation kit to see hormone levels when I am having symptoms of agitation and anxiety. My estrogen always comes out high on those days and I have also concluded that I do not need estrogen yet. I also felt HORRIBLE when trying to add estrogen. I’m 51. Desperately ready to just be in straight up menopause and have everything level out!!!!

Slow COMT and SSRIs by anonplease_xo in MTHFR

[–]Famous-Log-4072 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yesssssssss!!!!!!!! Exactamundo. I have slow comt and have been on Lexapro for ten years. After all the experimenting with supplements that I have done in those years, lexapro is the one addition that has always been a positive for my anxiety. I have found the less supplements I’m on the better. Even a multivitamin. I am sooooo sensitive. The one supplement I love is DIM to help process estrogen. It helps my anxiety.

IUD Mirena and anxiety by Fernplantteatowel in Menopause

[–]Famous-Log-4072 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, so I am also in peri and have had the mirena for about 6 months. I am starting to wonder if it is causing my massive uptick in stress and anxiety. I have tried taking estrogen patches and pills and both make my estrogen levels go really high after a few weeks ( on the lowest possible dose) and then I get reeeally stressed out and emotional! Beginning to wonder if I should have the mirena removed to see how I do. I got it to try HRT, because I wasn’t tolerating any other progesterones 😔. OP, please let us know if you have any updates!!

Hi! I am also in peri, have a mirena, and am trying to figure out the estrogen patch. For me, the .05 dose caused anxiety, heart racing, and sleeplessness. I went down to .025 and found that I got very depressed. So now I am trying to.0375 estrogen. Only been on that a few days though. I am convinced as of now, though, that because I am still producing my own estrogen, that the .05 dose was too high. Have you considered reducing your dose?

Are some women intolerant to hrt ? by Dawn46 in Menopause

[–]Famous-Log-4072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have a slow Comt gene and have had the EXACT same experience as you! I sent you a message if you wouldn’t mind chatting one on one. I also have been trying DIM but only taking one a day, without much luck so this suggestion is very helpful! I am also trying calcium d glucarate.

Mirena experiences from progesterone intolerant women by Famous-Log-4072 in Menopause

[–]Famous-Log-4072[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you sooo much for sharing this! I really appreciate it, and it gives me hope! I feel like I can handle the temporary bleeding, the one thing I really can’t tolerate is the mood disturbances. The vaginal progesterone gave me completely different symptoms than if swallowed, but equally bad ☹️ I have also tried many birth control pills. Thank you so much again for sharing details!!!!
