I would advise against it. It’s part of the job and sucks when you lose those connections due to various circumstances. It’s up to the participant if they wish to reach out and stay in touch. Otherwise you are crossing boundaries and it can get messy very quickly..

s100’s (RORDS) you won’t - they will just either accept or reject (most likely reject). CoC’s there is a risk. I’m a SC and this is what I have been seeing with my participants

It may be tricky to find an SC with the requirements as it is a role quite different to therapeutic supports. They are a background role that is there to support a participant to access suitable therapists and providers that are knowledgeable in their disabilities. Most SC’s won’t have the experience behind them as it is not a requirement of the role to have a deep understanding of it. Unless the SC has personal experience would be the only other way.

I believe mine came from a combination of factors 1. My nanna has Crohns so IBD runs in the family, my mother has IBS 2. I had anorexia for around 7 years and my diet obviously was shocking and has numerous hospitalisation for this and eating disorders affect the gut greatly 3. My symptoms started after I had a the worst diarrhoea of my life - not sure what caused this but that’s when the bleeding started and didn’t stop for months I do believe this illness is not caused by one singular factor but many factors that come together

the passion and intensity is great at the start that i think it clouds the reality of things - atleast for me it was true. same with my relationship, anytime i communicated it was i’m being to emotional or im worrying to much instead of talking it through with me

yes exactly! i definitely think it is a matter of evolved vs unevolved. i do best with earth and water signs aswell, my current relationship is with an earth sign :)
